(Photo) Light Bar & Pillar Lights Fuse Piggyback Suggestions

I didn't sketch the circuit, but I'll try to post a few details in the next week or so. The basics include picking up the triggers from the lighting control module (above the drivers right foot), ORing them with switched +12V from the battery (off = auto, on = manual) to feed "enable" switches...

26x10 or 26x10.5 on lowered suburban. What offset/et

I've gone in a completely opposite direction with wheels and tires (315/70R17 on 8.5 ET18), but I would be concerned about a 10.5 ET26 rubbing the upper ball joint. I have very little clearance there with my setup, and even the OE tires are close. For reference, OE are 20 (optionally 22) x9...

(Photo) Light Bar & Pillar Lights Fuse Piggyback Suggestions

I wired mine in a similar fashion but a bit more complex. I have a auto/manual switch and an on/off switch for each light. I can supply the on/off switch from the high beam (from lighting control module under the dash) or from auto/manual switch (supplied directly from the battery). The 2...

    Camera views

I think it depends on the market. My Canadian spec allows all camera views at any speed. I've heard from several reviews the US spec limits camera usage above 8 mph (plus the manual).

Truetrac or locker options 2023 suburban RST

Assuming there is nothing in the aftermarket, I would investigate one of the factory options for the rear (mechanical or eLSD) and the 1500 AT4X elocker for the front. I have the factory eLSD but not enough experience in low traction / crossed up situations to really comment on its...

    2023 Yukon AT4 Lift Kits

Icon makes a 3" lift and has a generally good reputation. FWIW, you can fit 315/70R17 (about the same dimensions as a small 35x12.50) at stock height by pulling back the fender liner and careful wheel selection. Mine are Hakka LT3 for winter and they measure almost identical to the BFG KO2...

Little vs big V8 2025 Tahoe

i`m overall quite happy with my 6.2 and reasonably happy towing a 4500 pound, 7x14 cargo trailer with it (several 1500km days). I don't think a could say the same for the 5.3, having previously towed other trailers with the 5.3 in a Sierra. That said, I do miss my 2500 Sierra with the 6.6 diesel...

    Readylift 3 inch SST Question

I'm not familiar with the lift but several lifts include replacement upper control arms with larger ball joints. Even factory, the upper ball joint is close to the tire sidewall. These kits require reduced offset to maintain clearance between the sidewall and ball joint. The lift companies are...

How wide of a wheel can I fit on my Yukon?

Here is my follow-up thread after running them for a winter. There are also a couple other photos of my truck posted on the forum if you search for my posts. https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/315-70r17-35s-with-no-lift-fitment-observations.145199/ Jeff

How often do you go WOT aka "Italian tune up"?

In 1.5 years of ownership, I don't thing mine has ever seen full throttle. The 6.2 has enough power that I never feel the need to use all of it. The Yukon has spent several days (900mi each) pulling an enclosed trailer and sucking back the gas but I can't say I've ever hit the throttle stop or...

How wide of a wheel can I fit on my Yukon?

It's not my style either, but it demonstrates what is possible and his posts are very informative regarding wheel and tire fitment. They were a great resource and inspiration when planning my own non-OE tire fitment (315/70R17 on +18ET with fender liner pullback but no lift). Jeff

How wide of a wheel can I fit on my Yukon?

It's certainly possible. This rig is running 24x14 and owned by member ProfeZZor X. There is at least one thread detailing this build. Jeff

2022 Yukon SLT A/T Tires on 22” Wheels Without Lift?

The BFG AT has a good reputation and I'll likely replace my OE GY with KO3s when the time comes. I run 315/70R17 (34.4 x 12.7 according to Kal Tire) Hakka LT3 on +18ET for winter at stock height and pulled back fender liner. Assuming no lift, OE wheels (+26 to +28ET) and a fender liner kit (or...

REAR CAMERA MIRROR on Chevvy Z71/Yukon AT4

Close-up of the grommet / boot from the inside of the hatch. A bit wider view provides some perspective and shows the additions cable tied to the factory installed reverse camera wire. This is the 5/32" rubber hose I used to connect the GM tubing to the washer nozzle. This had been laying...

REAR CAMERA MIRROR on Chevvy Z71/Yukon AT4

I installed the washer system this morning. I use GM p/n 84606448 and roughly 18" of 5/32" ID rubber windshield washer tubing. 84606268 appears to be the hose which connects to the camera nozzle. The fitting is a larger size than the camera housing Infotainment supplied with my camera, likely...

Has anyone tried the adjustable ride height sensor links (if equipped with Air Ride)?

I would recommend pulling the fender liners back (such as a Westcott Designs kit) before installing the links. I purchased the links before installing 315/70R17 (34.4 x 12.7) winters on +18ET and didn't require the links to clear. I've only rubbed once at normal height (braking + turning + bump)...

    Rear spoiler backup lights

I've just done the same, starting with this post. 2 in the hatch and 2 in the headliner. I used Rigid high output A-series rock lights. Small and very bright (600 lumen) for their size. Jeff

    Camper backup camera

If you want to use the in factory in dash display, you first need to confirm you have the video inputs (above your 7 pin trailer connector, option code ZM1). If not, I haven't heard of anyone retrofitting the video inputs and you will not be able to use the factory in-dash display. The factory...

3rd row dome light on with lift gate?

My temporary solution to power the cargo area and reverse lights. I have a few more things to do before tackling the wiring for these lights. Jeff

2021 3rd brake light replacement or spoiler removal?

Here are a few photos of the lights installed in the spoiler. It took a fair bit of effort to reattach the upper and lower spoilers, and the assembly is noticeably heavier and more awkward to handle with the lights installed but everything went back together. They're reasonably discrete from...

    Rear spoiler backup lights

Here are a few photos of my installation. The lights are Rigid SR-SERIES PRO 6 Inch DIFFUSED and offer similar output and beam pattern to the D2 dually I had hitch mounted on my previous Sierra 2500. I'm not thrilled with the appearance but it's about what I expected and the best comprise...

3rd row dome light on with lift gate?

I reassembled the rear spoiler (with reverse lights, see posts here and here) and got a few photos this evening. Factory cargo area lighting. I'm missing a few trim panels as I still have to drop the headliner and access the rear hatch one more time for my digital rear view mirror install. 2...

2024 Yukon Denali 22" Tire and Level consideration...need some input

They should fit on stock wheels w/o lift if you install a fender liner pull-back kit (see Westcott Designs website and YouTube channel). They are the same height and a bit narrower than the 315/70R17 I run for winter. I've only rubbed while turning sharply, braking and hitting a bump at the same...

    Rear spoiler backup lights

Old thread but I'm in the process of installing Rigid 6" light bars under the spoiler of my 2023 Yukon. I'll post photos once complete.

What are these extra wiring harnesses for? (Manx & Universal)

I'm absolutely guessing but the large connectors are OBD2, most like for something like a pedal commander, auto stop disable or to record vehicle data (fleet or insurance babysitter, etc). The one with the fuse holder could be modifying the light behaviour (fogs always on, etc). I have no...
