    Towing and hitch

Design- the hitch is almost an after-thought.

Not Happy With '17 Tahoe LT...

You're probably driving it... Let it sit in the driveway, I've had no problems.

    Tahoe leaning.

Usually referred to as the chevy (GM) lean. You could add a 1/4" spring seat to your driver's side.

    Towing and hitch

Probably not the most desirable option, nor the least expensive but, you could always get larger tires for your trailer... I had to go really low on my drop hitch too. And my trailer has an "off road" package. Of course, now that the Yukon is lowered, I will need to readjust again, for the...

Can’t get liftgate to open 3/4 on ‘18 tahoe

Yeah, I almost never use it. It's just handy when you have something loaded up top and don't want any interference.

Can’t get liftgate to open 3/4 on ‘18 tahoe

Yup, there is a way to program where you would like it to stop. Again though, too low and it will not accept that height, it will default to the previous setting. It should have a default height already, I'm just reaching here...

Can’t get liftgate to open 3/4 on ‘18 tahoe

Did you program it first, to where you want it? Also, there is a point below which it will not set.

How many of you DO NOT experience buffetting and vibration problem?

I have often wondered that, although, I thought it would make it happen, not negate it. On the other hand, I have the cross bars and no noise. I have also wondered about what the difference would be with a sunroof. Less roof line to flex??? I thought about starting a thread and poll but never...

    Spare Tire

Probably not. The aftermarket sealants now say that they are "tire sensor safe."

GM Bulletin on aftermarket air intakes

True but that dealer was being a jerk and we, as consumers, have (a few) rights.

GM Bulletin on aftermarket air intakes

Time to google the "magnuson-moss act."

    WiFi 4G LTE Icon

I think it's for the wifi hotspot capability in the rig. Again, my '16 never showed it.

Getting rid of squeaks and rattles

If it squeaks going over bumps, I would start with silicone lube and go over bushings (shocks, sway bar links, etc) and such.

2015 Tahoe Brake Squeak? Edit: Wheel Bearing

You should re-surface or replace at every pad change. There is a certain spec of rotor thickness that you should replace instead of re-surface. I usually just replace each time. For the expense and time that the vehicle is down (usually only a day or so but...).

2015 Tahoe Brake Squeak? Edit: Wheel Bearing

Actually, you could try swapping rotors, see if the problem moves. Normally, I would not recommend that at all. But, since they were not re-surfaced or new and the pads themselves are fairly new, it couldn't hurt.

2015 Tahoe Brake Squeak? Edit: Wheel Bearing

Yeah, that's what I was thinking but they couldn't duplicate the problem with the tire off. That's why I suggested making sure that there was some weight on the suspension. Just for S and G's.

    WiFi 4G LTE Icon

It never showed up in my '16. I think it is a software thing/update. Some CEO wanted their brand to be seen. Or, maybe I only had 3G.

2015 Tahoe Brake Squeak? Edit: Wheel Bearing

Not sure why this would matter but, when you jack it up to take off the tire, jack it by the control arm not by the frame. This will make sure that there is weight on that part of the suspension not having it just hang there. Maybe it will make a difference???

2015 Tahoe Brake Squeak? Edit: Wheel Bearing

To me, it sounds like the brake wear indicator (the squealer). They squeal, when the brakes are worn down (high-pitched), until you put the brakes on. Did the tone change slightly from the old pads to the new or remain the same? It may be that when you put the new pads on, you put them on wrong...

How many miles are on the rig?

2015 Tahoe Brake Squeak? Edit: Wheel Bearing

Did you have the rotors re-surfaced or did you replace them? Follow the mfg's break-in procedure? Use brake grease?
