WiFi 4G LTE Icon

Hello all,

I was just in a 2018 Tahoe LT for a few days while the body shop was finishing up some repairs.

I noticed the WIFi 4G Icon on the left side under the temp.

I have a 2016 Tahoe Z-71. But I can't find a way to enable it.

Is this just a new feature in a newer vehicle? Are any upgrades available?

You first need to pay for the service. Then you will be able to set the account said and password either online or from your Chevy app.

I do pay for the service, It's linked to my AT&T account.

It works ok, not spectacular.

I just can't find a way to enable the Icon.

In the rental vehicle, The Wi-Fi was active but did not connect to the network. I am sure the trial period is over.

Log into your account either online or on the chevy app. You will need to setup the ssid and password next.

It never showed up in my '16. I think it is a software thing/update. Some CEO wanted their brand to be seen.

Or, maybe I only had 3G.

Not sure about 3G. LTE is everywhere unless you are in the back hills. My 16 had it for the trial period since my ride was certified in January 18.
