    P0300 Battle

no b/c the motor only has 10,000 on it and I have to remove the headers in order to get the fitting into the spark plug hole. I thought I had found the problem b/c #4 wire had 100% resistance on it. Then O2 code popped up and the plugs look like she was running rich. Changed those and then again...

    P0300 Battle

OK folks I have been having issues with random misfire code. Sometimes it runs good and sometimes I can feel the miss in the drivers seat. Everything has been changed... Plugs (now using copper core ngk's, tried ac and e3's) O2 sensors, Wires (3 types, Accel, MSD and Taylor), Changed cap, rotor...

Aftermarket radiators can be a pain

I had bought a radiator off ebay after a lot of looking around. It's all aluminum with tig welded aluminum side tanks. No crimp on plastic BS. It is an awesome radiator. I know there is a lot of crap out there but this one was worth every penny. No leaks and cools like a MF.

    Oxygen Sensors, Original?? 210K miles..

I just put in new Denso's and I like them. The Bosch's I had crapped out after 8 months. Much better design because they have more area for the sensor to "sniff" the air via all the holes around it as opposed to the slits in the Bosch. Also they are made here in the USA. I personally look for...

OK I just noticed something weird. I can get overdive in 3rd gear. I also shifted into 3rd while in OD and it stayed. I know because I hit the brake and it disengaged. WTF?

    Spark Plug Wire Resistance

Found these 2 explanations in other forums about Spark Plug Wire Resistance and Ohms. Here is the first: 200 (ohm) 2K (2,000 ohm) 20K (20,000 ohm) 200K (200,000 ohm) 2M (2,000,000 ohm) 20M (20,000,000 ohm) 5.5 on a 20k or 200k scale is 5.5k ohms If you're reading...

    Spark Plug Wire Resistance

Ok thanks. The numbers still seem too good to be true. Got misfires going on P0300. These Accel's are what I had on before I put on MSD's. They measured 10.2. Gonna change them out to see if it makes a difference.

    Spark Plug Wire Resistance

Accel's. Yeah but it doesn't seem right. I'm reading that even MSD's have 50K per foot. Does anyone know what setting to use on the meter and what is the acceptable range. Everything I read and see on YouTube show people setting it to ohms and then taking readings. It is all very vague. I'm...

    Spark Plug Wire Resistance

Hey, I've been trying to find out some info on resistance values for good and bad wires. If I set my multimeter to 20k ohms, I get am average reading of 1.9 on the wires. Is this good or bad? Thanks

    How2savefuel.com anyone..?

Been there, done that. I even built my own systems that actually separate the hydrogen and oxygen. The problem is that computer controlled engines will see a cleaner, more efficient burn via the O2 sensors and will think the engine is running lean. The computer will compensate by dumping more...

    98 2DR Alternator Options

Alternator Choice I bought a serious alternator from dcpowerinc.com. It was NOT cheap... but its the best out there since most of the stuff you get today is made like crap or from China. I am very happy with it and probably will be the last alt I will have to buy.
