The regulator could be bad on the spider. In that case, you have to change the whole unit which is located under the upper manifold. I would see if you can get it to start when the pressure does hold. I'm thinking it should run anyway unless it's flooding out the engine.
Beware if it is...
411 swap
Read the instructions and wire mapping thoroughly and be comfortable. Don't rush and make sure you mark off each wire change or else you will second guess yourself. I recommend putting a trailer harness on the transmission splice so it can be disconnected like all the other harnesses...
I used the aluminum one off of ebay and I love it. It's big and all metal. IMO all radiatiors with plastic tanks suck. Don't forget to convert to EL fans! The 40" will fit 2 16" fans side by side. Also a pic of the welds on the aluminum rad
Mine blew at 160k. Then I had a rebuilt go twice during a warranty. I'm a firm believer that the oem cannot be matched by a rebuild. Now I have a PACT tranny which costs close to 3k because tranny shops suck where I live. So far she is holding up.
second spider cause I had issues with ignition. Thought I had a bad spider unit. Had to buy a new one cause one of the injector nozzles melted due to backfiring cause by no start flooding. It was a nightmare. Replaced the ignition and spider and didn't have the p0300 issue yet.
Have you eve...
The misfire is definitely random... on idle. No problem at wot and overall driving. Noisy engine from day one due to piston slap. I evan called GM on it and they said there is no problem with premature ware. It does go away after she warms up though.
The spider is a delphi bought that last...
Ah gotcha

The 411 swap went well. I just got a BB tune last week and have been putting some miles on it...
Hey SunlitComet. Haven't seen you in a while. I shot a quick youtube video of my fuel pressure. Have a look and tell me what you think.

I think the pump is going and causing my p0300 issues.
Hey,
Is there a higher pressure fuel pump for our trucks or is the stock AC Delco good enough? I think I have fuel pressure issues and want to do some homework on this before buying anything.
Thanks
Hard to say. A MAF isn't cheap and most times are non-rufundable but depending on the miles you may want to change it out anyway. Take off the distributor cap and check both the cap and rotor and see if they are corroded.
I had to jump the pins on the low pressure switch which is the plug on the Accumulator. This will engage the compressor and allow the freon to enter the system. Also you may need to add some PAG oil? I replaced my whole system and had to do that.
