Suburban vs Yukon XL 2500 Frame

The bottom of the headlights are on the same alignment (slightly different distance between the bottom corners). The 2500 and 1500 have slightly different frames and the tow hooks/ bumper mount differently.

2013 yukon sle front end swap

Reviving this again. I hit a deer and need to replace my bumper cover, headlights and grill. My hood also needs some work, but is ok. I'm not a giant fan of the raked out nose and high headlights of the Yukon, so I'm considering swapping to the more square nosed Sierra hood, headlights, grill...

    Manual Transmission Buttons Not Working!

that's a new one for me. just the trans items in the cluster? P R N D M? or is it something else? Could be a positions sensor. I think there is a re-learn sequence you have to run through after installing the transmission to learn all of the shifter positions that they might have skipped. I...

    Building the SS(V) TrailHoe

Really Cool Thread. Thanks for Sharing! Did you re-gear with 3.73s or did the SSV come with those or do you have the 4L80? How do you like the gearing? I'm planning to make the switch to 35s when I can regear from 3.42s and trying to decide if I should jump to 4.10s (I have a 6L80)

    Tech-2 Fun

I got it into the shop before my trip to have them look into oil pressure/ pickup tube issues and do a compression test. They said that they didn't see anything indicating any oil pressure problems. It was due for an oil change when I had it in the shop so it had older oil in it. Compression was...

35s spare under stock carrier? does it fit? 2012 Yukon XL

I found this tire: Goodyear Wrangler MT/R with Kevlar LT275/80R17 I'm considering using it as my spare because it would provide a little better ground clearance. It is about 1.5" narrower than a 315/70r17 or a 35x12.50 and comparable diameter. I wouldn't mind running all of them on that...

    Kayak rack suggestions?

We make a sturdy roof rack system that allows for flexible attachment and use of the entire roof. Either way make sure you tie down anything that can catch wind to hood straps or a bumper. Uplift is not your friend with the factory nut inserts. If you're interested you can find more info at...

    07 6.2 P0011

Same issue. It’s been intermittent but more pretty consistent. I replaced the actuator solenoid and it didn’t fix mine. I tried running premium and 87 (I’m in Colorado) and neither seems to change. Maybe a tired oil pump or stretched timing chain. Could be an oil pressure issue I suppose. I also...
