Since I just did my plugs and wires last weekend I thought I'd share. I went with MSD wires and NGK iridium plugs. Happy with both. I'll post some pics in a bit.

When I first bought my truck I used to leave it in auto all the time thinking why not. Then I started getting a strange howl from the front end mostly when turning on freeway on-ramps. I took it to the dealer to have them check it out and they advised me not to keep it in auto since some parts...
It's time to do plugs and wires and I'm also considering upgrading to a set of MSD Blaster ignition coils. They aren't cheap though ($381 for the set)! Any thoughts on this? Are stock coils good enough, will I notice a performance improvement, mileage, etc? Thanks!
GM1092186 is the valance part you want, HOWEVER be careful when you order you might want to call ahead and make sure they can confirm you are getting the black part and not the grey. It comes in a HUGE box and return shipping isn't fun!

I had this happening every so often. I figured out it only occurred if the throttle pedal accidently got bumped from underneath. It was causing the TPS to go haywire. It always cleared after stopping and shutting off the engine for a minute. Sounds like you may have a different issue though...
Well I'm guessing it would be Plasti Dip or something like that I've never painted Chrome but I imagine the prep isn't too hard

You mean PTM the chrome bumper? If so, I don't have any plans right now and if I did then I would want to do the rear bumper also. For now I'm pretty happy with the color scheme, but it's always and ongoing project. ;)
I went with the pod style LED fogs in a Z71 valance. Probably much to bright for traffic, but will work great for offroad/empty roads. I never really used the factory fogs much anyway, they hardly throw any light. For me it was a style choice and better lighting for offroad.
Rockauto took care of me and got me the correct black part. Really glad I bought replacement clips. The swap was actually a bit harder than I thought it would be. This was mostly due to some of the clips being in tough to reach spots. Reusing the old clips would not have been worth it, I...
The project got stalled they sent the grey valance instead of a black one so it's shipping back. I'm going to hold out for the black part.
