I have a 99 Tahoe that the battery kept draining after replacing three batteries and new alternator, I started looking for the draw. I could not find it took it to a shop. They told me it was the visor light disconnected. When I got it back, my key fob would not lock my car when it was running when it used to. I will lock my car in the winter if I’m running in somewhere is not to have to turn it off and on and leave it running. Now it doesn’t work. It will work when the car is not running. Also my headlights used to be on all the time when the car was running now the headlights are not on all the time I have to manually turn them on. I believe they disconnected more than what they told me . I looked under my driver side dash and I found these wires I don’t know if they’re supposed to something or not.
I asked them to check all the grounds. they wouldn’t unless there was a failure of some type.
All I asked them to do that because two times in the last two years when I’ve pulled out of my driveway and started to head down the hill has stalled and the exact same spot. I’ve had to pull into a driveway start up and drive back home I don’t know if that’s part of the electrical issue or if there could be a loose ground somewhere have not checked those yet. I’m not mechanic, but I try to do my own work if I can via YouTube or someone helping me.
I tried to look at a wiring diagram, but I didn’t see any of these colors on there unless I’m missing something one looks like a wiring harness in the others are just pin or plug-in type wires.
