    Any chance your foot is bumping the pedal in the opposite direction or a floor mat is causing issues? Only time I've had it happen is when I've accidently got something under the pedal and pushed it the wrong way.

    If you're like me you just want to change fluids and do the other basic maintenance for peace of mind. Go ahead and do them as time allows. It's cheap insurance and you'll feel good about it.

    Dropped off at trans shop for trans service and cooler install. * Shop just called and said I have the factory trans cooler. I'm such a knucklehead, don't know how I missed that! Is that an option with the tow package? Oh well, saved me some $$$ and I'm happy with that! :)

    Yea I know what you mean. I'm very much a DIY'er for those exact same reasons. Right now my time is limited and this shop has a very good reputation so I'm hoping for the best.

    Yea I was speaking with the tranny shop the other day and they recommend every 25 - 30k. Mine is going in next week to get an external cooler installed and I'm gonna have them do fluid and filter while it's there. Save me an afternoon in the garage.

    Personally I wouldn't mess with it. You would probably spend more money getting them to fit/work, but that's just me.

    To add to this thread...what interval do you guys do your changes at? Owners manual says 50k, Haynes says 30k or severe use 15k. Curious to know what a good rule of thumb would be?

    I love the idea of the OLM since it's not just mileage based, but uses a combo of mileage, RPM, and temp to determine oil life. I average around 8,000 between changes, but I run full synthetic so don't really sweat it. * and sorry to sidetrack the question, I've never heard of the issue you...
