I installed a LOC (line out converter) on my factory Denali/Bose system today until I do a full system install. I tapped into the radio's outputs on the back of the radio itself to get a full audio signal (even though I was only hooking up a sub). After hooking up up the sub I noticed that the...
I am thinking of replacing the factory CD player with a double Din after market unit. My question is can I remove some of the plastic that sits just above the factory unit behind the trim panel? This is on an 03 Denali that has the remote CD player mounted below the radio. Attached is a...
I used to have a down firing Boston 12" in a sealed box in various cars of mine and I loved it but I am trying to get away from the box in the cargo area idea and just have something tucked away.
I was driving around the other day and my Xm went out. I didn't think much of it until it stayed out for longer than the usual interference. I have checked every connection behind the glove box and now at day 3 I still have no XM. I have had them send a refresh signal twice and it has not...
Mine was cracked at the top/side and would not really ever lose any coolant but it would not let the system pressurize. I am in TN also and neither of my Yukons get hot in the summer.
I have that in my 04 XL and I am not super happy with it. While it is an improvement over the stock Bose, I do not not think it comes close to properly built box further back in a vehicle.
I would love to go with the Thunderform box but since I have an 03 Denali XL I am doubtful it will fit. The under seat box would be a good solution but I am not convinced that I would get the sound quality I am looking for. I have the under console Stealthbox in my 04 XL and I am not super...
I am planning on adding a sub or a pair of subs to my 03 Denali XL. My question is would it sound better to have one sub mounted in the cargo area roughly where the 00-02 sub was located in a custom box or two subs mounted under the 2nd row seat? Assume that the sub(s) would be the same. If...
I was going to say the issue you will run into is the radio recognizing something other than the factory tape deck. I had similar issues trying to feed in something through the remote changer wiring in my Denali.
I did all the install on these so if you have any other questions let me know. The Kenwood unit was quite a bit more work using bondo and paint to make the piece look its best. The USB is mounted near the traction control button in the dash. Its mounting could be cleaner but its my wife's...
I have accomplished this (kind of) two different ways.
Both ways start with this.

This gives you an option to add something via the RCAs on the interface and only uses up one band of your XM presets. Now what...
Is it possible to tap into the factory wiring to feed an audio signal back to the factory head unit from the CD changer? What I would like to do is hook up some source in place of the factory changer and use the existing wiring to send the signal back to the factory deck. Can this be done and...
I have an 03 Denali with the non touchscreen nav and I and planning on upgrading my system. My problem is I have two little ones and I do not want to lose the functionality of my rear seat entertainment.
My question is what is the simplest way to accomplish this?
I have been looking at the...
How would that Sundown SD-2 compare to a shallow mount 10 such as either of these?
