    Oil consumption tests done

They will do all the documentation but you are the one that needs to push for the next step, next step and the next step or at least that's how my GM dealer is. They are not resistant but slow on doing things. Like I said it took me like a year for all their documentation, splash guard, cleaning...

    Oil consumption tests done

I went through this for a year and paid off last September. I got a new engine which includes everything in the block and heads. All engine accessories are the original ones. But for free and no more oil consumption I got a new engine at 85K mi. I was burning 1 quart or oil every 200-300 mi...

2009 yukon rear defroster wire fell off

Solder it x3! I had mine done by my buddy that is an audio installer. He did it like in 30 seconds. Don't listen to the dealer or any other glass place. But be careful because if the glass gets too hot it will shatter/brake. I can't remember if my friend used a solder gun or solder torch or both.

Project: York 210 on NNBS Tahoe

Thanx, I'll consider it about you cutting the pieces and sending them to me if the other guy doesn't reply back when I'm ready to do the york. How long will it take if you cut them and make the holes and send them to me? Also how do you keep tension on the belt or does the bracket have...

I have Savv they are good quality and if you have tan interior their tan color pillows are exact color of leather as my 07 Yukon XL non-denali. But make sure to put a video amplifier if you have more than two screens running off the same video line. I have a 15" flip down and 2 headrest and my...

    Suede or Alcantara

I did the pillars when I got my headliner done. The pillars arent that hard to do but then again I didn't do the hard ones that are the the second where the seatbelts are at those are hard. JuniorSS, do the headliner if you are going to do the pillars. It is a total transformation. To pull...

Rockford Fosgate Amp install in a Yukon Help.

The amp that you are running is big, I know that because I have it in my Yukon Xl. I'm not to sure if yours is an XL or not but if you are only finding space for the T40001bd then it shouldn't matter. Put it on the floor behind your third row then make a false floor on top of the amp with...

    Servos

I got my Yukon XL back yesterday after 45 minutes at the transmission shop and let me tell everybody out there this is the best $95 w/ servo included I have ever spent. This makes a huge difference specially with big wheels and tires. Before you were able to feel the lag between 1-2 and somewhat...

    Servos

I didn't ask the guy but I was telling him I looking for a B&M but he says he warranties his for for 12K mi or 1 year. He mentioned something to me about a billet I told hime to put in the one that will last and won't break. I was looking at the longer pin but I don't know what is the...

    Servos

I just called a reputable transmission shop and he told me that they do it all the time and that it doesn't mess anything up, plus I told him I have big wheels and tires and he said that the servo would help with the way that it shifts through gears. This is going to be done for less than $100...

    Servos

I just checked a local transmission shop and they quoted me at $290 for labor only. They said they would have to remove the exhaust, cross member to make room for the 6-7in pin that the servo has and I only have 2" at most to work with. I just looked up on youtube on how to do it and it doesn't...

    Pioneer Head unit

I would have to agree that Pioneer is the best way to go in my own opinion. I've always had Pioneer units for the last 11 years, not a single has broken down on me I've gotten rid of them because I wanted a new one or bought a new vehicle. I currently have the avic-z130bt. I've only had good...

    sub tuning help?

I had the same problem in my BMW X5. The problem was that I spliced into a amplified signal. The solution is to splice into a signal that is before your stock Bose amplifier which would be two wires behind the Head Unit. Thats why your subs are hitting loud at low volume and then dropping or...

    My Yukon XL on 28's

So my friend just got an 07 ESV and he wants to demold it. Are there any screws holding those "locating tabs"? Are there holes in the ESV doors that will be seen when door trim removed? He wants to do the blacked out look. I'll get his mirrors also while i'm at it.

    My Yukon XL on 28's

If the weather and time allows me to wash it I will snap better pics of the wheels and the Yuk. I'm looking for the chrome strip of the ESV chrome door molding. Anybody know where and how much is it? ---------- Post added at 08:40 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:35 AM ----------...
