    Will a stock 2007 xl fit 285/75r16s

I am looking for an upgrade in wheels and found some that are coming off a 2003 suburban that are 285/75r16, will those fit well on my stock 2007 XL? I currently have 275/55/r20s on here and am looking to increase side wall for the bumpy forest service roads and comfort. Thanks!

Yes, I will take off the wheels here today or tomorrow and check with my finger. I've already learned not to do that while they are hot! I will take a look at the blower motor. The whining certinally does go away if you cycle the key. It randomly shows up. Would that be a grounding...

I went with the powerstop kit from Rock Auto. I have it listed on my spreadsheet here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GWTJEK0uzQ7C8TjYdxdeBgpUfOwHbz_1gknCLeX2QUc/pubhtml The break in procedure I followed was in the kit itself. It was 30 stops from 30mph, with 30 seconds in between, I...

    Seat stuck in reclined position

Oh what!! I was thinking “no way” and then decided to put the bad switch back in and try what you mentioned and it worked!! For reference I had to go all the forward and then had to do the tilt all the way up.

    Seat stuck in reclined position

Issue identified! It’s the seat switch for the power controls. I diagnosed this by figuring that if the motor is clicking when reclining but not bringing it up. It’s probably not gears or the motor. After looking at some schematics, I noticed that the switch was one unit and decided I needed to...

    Seat stuck in reclined position

Oh. It can recline by the way but it just won’t got back. I have the back off and when I’m reclining I can hear the motor. But when trying to bring it up there is no sound or click.

    Seat stuck in reclined position

Passenger seat was fully reclined and now it won’t go up. I checked for anything in the way but doesn’t seem like there is something blocking it. What’s a good course to get this back up?

Alright, just took this beast to the Tetons/West Yellowstone. A total of about 600 mile trip for us. I am following up with some details and also some issues that I noticed on my trip and hopefully I can pick y'alls brains on some solutions. @OR VietVet, for the first tank I used the Techron...

The cleaning being the new valve cover? Yes, it's on my list to get swapped. It's hard to find e85, if not impossible. 91 octane is much more popular around here and that is most commonly carried. I just googled and it's like 180 miles away to find e85. I will check though next time I go into...

Worked on the truck again today. - Changed spark plugs and spark plug wires - MAF sensor cleaned - Air filter replaced That #8 plug was kind of a pain, but I decided early on I was going to attack it from the wheel well, removing the liner and everything made that easy. Old plugs were toast...

Changed the block off gasket. Drove 180 miles. No more leaks from that section anymore. Now some oil accumulating at the base of the pan and at the top around those bolts. Going to need to track those down, there isn’t oil under the car anymore after it sits for some time. Which seems to be...

You are correct! It looks like it’s coming from the oil cooler block off. I’m going to replace the gasket and go from there.

    07 transmission overfilled?

Update. Got the temp up and it was still low. So filled it. Took about 1 quarts to get it back into the hot line. Will check again tomorrow after some driving. Thanks all!

I had a smaller set of vice grips that I tuned just right. I would use that to open the spring clamp as far as possible and I was able to get it on.
