2023 5.3 knock
I’m about to ask a dumb question, but have you check the oil level? Newer vehicles are known to burn oil at an obnoxious rate. Low oil will cause knock and the oil light won’t typically turn on until it’s out of oil completely.- KFauz

I know I’m 2 years late to the thread but I had this same issue this morning. I was able to trace it down to 2 bad ground wires from the ignition harness. They were broken at the grounding location.
