Intakes - Sceptre vs K&N
I have had Spectre cold air intake's on a few of my vehicles, they are good intakes. They are cheaper in price but it's actually a quality system, good fit, good materials, good clamps, good instructions, good filters... i would never waste money on a K&N system when the Spectre is the exact...- txperformance

Hypertech tune = truck will not start!
I did call Hypertech and it didn't do any good at all... they blamed everything else BUT the tuner, but i know better... that damn truck was running perfect before I parked it and changed the tune... I even told them that i wasn't looking for anything for free, just advise as to what i needed...- txperformance

Hypertech tune = truck will not start!
Whats even more confusing is my scanner will communicate with the PCM, it reads the vin# and checks for DTC's & such... The handheld tuner also acts like it's communicating, even turns on dash lights, fuel pump, etc. when it's doing it's thing, says tuning complete and everything... engine just...- txperformance

Hypertech tune = truck will not start!
I've had to do security relearn a couple of times in the past and it worked great for me then, but this time is different... My security light is NOT illuminated or blinking when i attempt the re-learn process. I even attempted a re-learn just by timing the key cycles (10 mins on 30 secs off...- txperformance

I tried that also, i removed both battery cables for about 6-8 hours, hooked them back up and still no start... :Frustrated:- txperformance

I've already removed the tune & put everything back to factory specs... that was the first thing i tried.
