I want to replace the factor panasonic rear dvd player. Has anyone replaced theirs and if so with what unit? I would obviously like to get a bigger screen but also cover the area where the panasonic is currently. If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it!
Thanks UBILLN. If it happens again, I'll just take it to my mechanic. Someone else told me it may be the blower module sensor? When it goes bad, it will blow non stop.
The other day I got in my Tahoe and closed the door. Before I even put my keys in the ignition the air conditioner turned on for about 10 seconds. It freaked me out at first. Does anyone know what would cause this to happen? It hasn't done it since. Any advice would be great. Thanks.
I bought the same intake. I like it. To me it sounds better than upgrading the exhaust. Tahoes with loud exhaust are tacky to me anyway. Mine has a nice deep sound to it. Worth the money.
Thanks for the input. I've had Flowmaster before on other trucks but they were really loud. I may have had the 60 series. What do you know about Magnaflow or the other brand?

I have a 2005 Chevy Tahoe 5.3L and I want to upgrade the muffler. I don't want it loud sounding like glass packs but I want it to sound aggressive. Any advice I would appreciate.
This statement is very accurate! I had 5% on my 2002 Tahoe and it was a nightmare at night. If you are backing up, good luck, because you can't see anything at night. Even through the side windows. I would have to lift the rear window to back out of driveways ( if cars were around).

@TnTahoe - thanks. definitely post your results if you do hardwire the back dvd player. the guy at best buy said you might find out how to do it on you tube.
@Scott - the first time it started doing it was when i was in the back seat trying to get sound to the dvd player and it started...
i recently purchased a 2005 tahoe z-71 and the previous owner put this unit in. here are the issue i have:
1. When on the radio (FM), it will randomly start scanning my preset stations that i listen to which is really annoying. i even reset factory settings.
2. My Tahoe has the Panasonic...
Thank you, I'll give it a try. There is an SRC button on the rear control where the rear a/c are. I haven't tried pushing that. I do have a Pioneer dvd/navagation indash unit. I will do some searching on the setting on the deck. Thank you all again. Others have told me that you can tune in...
I just recently purchased a 2005 Tahoe with the factory Panasonic DVD player in the back. Is there a trick to get audio from the Bose speakers? I can only get audio from the headphones. I also have an aftermarket head unit too. Not sure if the factory head unit had controls for the DVD...
