What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

fuel level problem
There are lots of complaints about sporadic movement of the fuel guage. Supposedly the contact on the sending unit get a carbon build up or something like that. I heard Techron additive is good for this, but it didn't work for me. I kinda got used to it.- Pooh Bear

Sea Foam
Just a quick update on how I made out. Did another can of Seafoam and scanner cleared my code. Code P0301 came back, rough idle (pretty bad). SES steady on and blinking ALOT. So I did more research and figured I try a little Lucas Oil injection cleaner. Actually, I put about 16oz of it in the... -

I tried it. Worked Great. I have a 158,500 miles on my 01 Yukon. Got a P0301 code, changed the plugs, then got a multiple misfire code. I seafoamed through the brake booster vacuum line and the gas tank - 1/2 and 1/2. Blew alot of smoke, but the code came back after resetting. Used another can -... -

Finally cleaned my ground connections. No more ABS and Brake light!!!! Trying Techron additive in the morning to get my gas gauge working correctly.- Pooh Bear

2001 Tahoe Weak Heat
Hey Everyone, I been gone for awhile. Nice to see everyone still giving great advice. I had the same problem and I backflushed mine in December. Saw a quick blurp of something flow out of the heater core tube. Kept the water going a little longer. Put everything back together and its been fine...- Pooh Bear

thoughts on new rims..

Electrical question.
As you know and stated in your question, fuses blow because of a short cicuit. Most likely you have a wire grounding out somewhere. Feel your relay while the fog lights are on. If it's hot then it might be the cause, but I would look for a short. Hope this helps.- Pooh Bear
