    OEM Cam Shaft Replacement

Anyone have any recommendations for a good OEM Cam replacement? I have a 2007 Denali XL and need to replace the cam due to a ground lobe and lifter issue. I'm thinking about just going back to OEM with everything, I'm fine the the performance, and don't really want to start down that rabbit...

    #5 Misfire and Lifter/Valve Noise

No one has replied, but though I'd give an update. Pulled the head and the lifter (one of them) on #5 was twisted in the guide sleeve, and was chunky and ground down. Highly likely the cam lobe will match, so out comes the engine to replace the cam, plus freshen it all up and fix my oil leak. I...

    #5 Misfire and Lifter/Valve Noise

I have a 6.2L in my 2007 Denali, 208k miles. It's been a great rig, and other than the cold start up noise that we mostly all have, no issues. About 2000 miles ago, it started having a #5 misfire at idle, and a rough idle, bouncing around at about 485-510rpm. If I could keep it at 600rpm, no...

    A/C Freezing Up

Thanks! I'll give it a try while I'm down here.

    A/C Freezing Up

Mine says "rear". I swapped out the original controls when I got the rig because the original + and - buttons were all worn out. I wonder if that had anything to do with it. Do you just take it to the dealership to reprogram it, and what do you tell them to do? Thanks!

2007 Suburban...back of front seat is loose?

Do you have kids? I'm guessing they pulled that part off or on it at some point and the clip is broken. You should be able to pull the whole thing off (you'll have to google for instructions), then replace the broken clip.

    A/C Freezing Up

I've had this issue for a long time now, but we live in Montana, so it's usually not too big of a deal. But, I just made the 2500 mile drive to Florida, and of course, it would be nice to address it. My A/C condenser is freezing up. If I run the AC on HIGH, it won't freeze, and all works...

Transfer Case or AWD Clunking - CLUNK, CLUNK, CLUNK

Thanks! ---------- Post added at 04:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:22 PM ---------- Stupid question, but where's the easiest place to find the transmission code so I order the right parts?

Have you a link? Master "what" rebuild kit, transfer case?

Transfer Case or AWD Clunking - CLUNK, CLUNK, CLUNK

Not the one that happens when you put it in gear or decelerate. I have a 07 Denali XL. About 10k miles ago, it started doing this CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK thing under heavy acceleration, and it's getting worse. I took it by a transmission shop to have him listen to it, and without opening it up...

    AC Blower Problem

Wierd and intermittent problem. Before I start throwing parts at it, thought I'd check in here. When driving my 2007 Yukon XL Denali, AC set to Auto, everything is fine while the blower is essentially on HIGH (same situation if I manually set it to high.) It'll run on high for seemingly...

2007 Denali Trailer Charge Wire Issue

Yep, in the 07's, it's a red/black, and that's the wire that runs from to back from the stud on the front of the fuse panel to the 7pin. The stud works, but I'm not getting continuity from front to back on the wire.

2007 Denali Trailer Charge Wire Issue

Before I really get serious about pulling a new wire, I thought I'd see if any one else has encountered this. I just bought a 2007 Denali XL, and love it. We towed our trailer from MT to FL a few weeks ago, and it was so much better than the 2003 z71 we had (just totaled.) The only issue...
