everything is stock as of now, tires are at 36 psi, 87 oct. just blew the air filter out with a compressor but i am going to put a CAI and a new fuel filter in- dbest

flasher battery drain????
Is it a big battery drainer to leave four way flashers on while the vehicle is off on a 2000 Tahoe LT? Or how long can I do so before it becomes a problem? Thanks- dbest

Speedometer pegged after battery disconnect
Try turning the ignition on and taking a magnet and try to drag the needle back to normal. It may sound crazy but mine did the same thing and thats how I was told to fix it and it worked. -

2000 Tahoe bad mileage
Hi guys, I recently got a 2000 Tahoe Lt with 174,000 miles and a new trans at 162,000. I am consistently getting 12 mpg. I am not a lead foot and drive conservatively. I have a friend with a 2003 Tahoe with 186,000 miles who is a fire chief which naturally leads to aggressive driving habbits...- dbest
