Not so good vibrations.
The factory ones are not to bad so long as you have a torch. just have to heat up the yoke where the caps are installed until the little white nylon lock squirts out the side. then remove the u-joint.- Magnumac

2003 Tahoe - parking brake question

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?
replaced the weak autoride coils in the rear with Z71 coils. brought the rear back up to where it used to be, still waiting on new shocks.- Magnumac

Towing/Mileage concerns for '02-'06 Yukon?
I hate towing with my XL. It handles it fine but needs a lot more torque. I guess thats what the Ford is for. I would get a 3/4 ton unit if towing more than a couple hundred miles a year. I know people do it and have good luck with a 1/2 ton, every time I pull more than 5000 with the...- Magnumac

Vibrations at 65+ mph - 2003 Tahoe
U-joints, have had several of these and normally there is a front drive shaft joint out, none of them ever felt loose but they get just dry enough to set up a vibration. if you look close, you can see a little bit of rust dust seeping out of a cap seal.- Magnumac

Hey guys, new to the forum here, thought I 'd chime in with my experience with this problem. I drive a lot of dirt and gravel so my 2005 yukon has had this most of its life. sometimes changing the solenoid valve helps but if it doesn't, I have had to take the canister off and beat the crap...
