    I just want to be clear when i wrote diff i mean the whole assembly case and all. i just want to pull mine out an put a new one in and be done. i just got done changing my fluid and there was alot of metal on the magnetic bolt. so i will need to replace the unit.

    as title states are the nnbs and nbs front diffs interchangeable. I think i have bad carrier bearings in my front diff. i have found a nnbs front diff for $500 with 24 miles on it. i would like to swap it out instead of having a shop rebuild mine.

    thanks for the replies. with spindles i have heard a lot of alignment issues that need to be correct by buying camber kit, the decreased turning radius. the DJM control arms also have their fair share of issues. Like the ball joints included are cheap and should be replaced right away...

    thanks for the reply its not the engine. it has something to do with the drivetrain. noise happens more when at higher speed. i have changed the gear oil n the front diff. looked new. it did not seem low. im thinking a bearing in the diff.
