I will get the measurements tomorrow. I think they were 32.25 in back and 33.5 in front. The rear sits lower. My tire ad wheel combo are 285/50/20. I don't think I have leveling keys. The truck had a rake when stock. A buddy of mine used leveling keys in his tahoe and my front sat lower when it had stock suspension. I also have belltech street perf. Shocks front and back. Does djm make 2" control arms for the Tahoe.

Sorry, meant to say lower in rear, not front lol..

I don't think DJM ever made a 2" drop arm. Maybe the adjustment bolts for the keys are not lined up inside the recess of the keys? Who installed the arms/kit?

bolts are in the dimples. my measurements are 33.25 front and 32.25 rear.

Wow this is puzzling for sure.

Your 285/50/20 tires measure about 31.20" tall. My 305/40/22 tires measure 31.60 so yours are a little bit shorter overall height (which should help your cause if anything). If your keys are completely de-cranked, that means you are missing a good 1-1.7" of drop somewhere which still kinda points to the possibility of someone installing lift/leveling keys before you owned it.

I would maybe try to round up some stock keys from a salvage yard Tahoe and install those just to be sure you are working with stock keys. They are fairly easy to swap out in less than an hour. The other option is to purchase some drop keys. The only downside to that is, if you unknowingly have lift/leveling keys installed now, you will be severely dropped in the other direction with drop keys, even with them fully cranked up.

lol dude im hammered on the plane coming back from the tbss nationals I had this weekend so don't blame me fully.... plus im not sure of his budget so was seeing if that was a option

i thought about putting the rubber spring seats back in the rear. i know it wont get me up an inch. what are my option with raising the rear up, new springs. the issue i have is i purchased a 3/5 kit and got a 2/5 kit. just frustrating.


I have my old stock keys from my silverado. im going to try them. are the lift/leveling/ lowering keys easy to differentiate. i thought they just reindex the torsion bar hole.
