I have an 04 Tahoe that was doing this. I cleaned out the ac drain and it hasn't made the noise since. -

When I think I might have a bad wire or coil, I wait until it gets dark and look at the engine while it's running. Just look for the spark. You probably knew that trick, but if you didn't... ;)- 2Canoes

I saw his in a thread, but I think he said his were the smoked version. -

Yes, regular bulbs. The back up lights really surprised me. They didn't give off much light at all in the factory tails. -

Here's the non led tail lights I got on ebay. I had searched the forum, but couldn't find these installed on anybody's Tahoe. Really like them so far. Makes the back up lights super bright! -

Had an old Chevy do what you described once. I thought the trans was screwed. Tried it next day after it had cooled off and it never did it again. I was running it hard. That's why I asked about trailer. Sounds like it was loaded down though. Sent from my SCH-L710 using Tapatalk 2- 2Canoes

*Clunk* Noise From Rear End Going Over Speed Bump

Bad mileage on my 2004 Yukon
The cat on my Camaro broke into pieces and plugged up the muffler. I don't recall gas mileage going down when it happened, but it ran like a new car when I installed a new muffler.- 2Canoes

Sounds like parts of the cat got into the muffler. I don't know if it would hurt mpg that much, but probably a good place to start. My guess is that it's getting too much gas and that's what messed up the cats. Was mpg down before cats had to be replaced?- 2Canoes
