    Control arm angle

Generally, people get the keys to lift the front to level the front to the back. This actually messes up the angles and geometry. Besides an alignment, you will end with uneven tire wear. Spindles are a better way to go. Just make sure your CV axles are not at too steep angles. Moderation is...

07+ Brake upgrade on a 00-06 NBS, is it worth it?

The thing is that going bigger than NNBS it's going to cost an arm and a leg... About 1/3 of what an NBS is worth...

07+ Brake upgrade on a 00-06 NBS, is it worth it?

I would get high quality Dot 4... Get synthetic Dot 4 that has the highest boiling point... Price is not too relevant. I would not cheap out on brakes. :D

    Discount Tire and mounting tires

I see what you mean... I do see that the tires are 12.2" wide and are meant for a 10-12" wheel... You have about 4" of tire sidewall to flex 1-1/2" on each side. I think they are just covering their ass. I bet you if you had more sidewall it would not be an issue at all...

    Discount Tire and mounting tires

If I want 16.5" inch tires mounted on my 17" inch wheels... They are not going to try mounting them... Get the right tires for the wheels you got... If they say that they are not going to mount them on your vehicle because the offset is way off... Then take just the wheels, not the vehicle...

I went with EBC Yellow Stuff brake pads... Good Pads will make a big difference...

07+ Brake upgrade on a 00-06 NBS, is it worth it?

SS Brake lines give you better feel, I do not know how important that may be on a car... On a motorcycle absolutely, you have one brake per tire so it's nice to feel differences of asphalt grip at the lever... But on a car, there is one pedal on 4 tires, and most cars have ABS.

    Bilstein Shocks 4600 vs 5100

You should try the 4600... You have to put your body weight to compress them... (My 200 lbs anyway)

    Bilstein Shocks 4600 vs 5100

The control arm stops seem fine. The torsion bars are cranked just a little, the Yukon still sits about 2" higher on the rear. Just backing out of the driveway, the car still bounces once I am on the flat street... The bouncing to me feels like the shocks are worn out, in just 16,000 miles. Now...

    Bilstein Shocks 4600 vs 5100

I have had Bilstein 4600 shocks on my other SUV with great satisfaction. When it came time for shocks on my 2006 Yukon SLT, I figure I would upgrade to the Bilstein 5100 series. Initially, I noticed that the shocks were a lot softer... But after 16,000 miles the Yukon bounces several times...

New 07 rotors, 07 calipers, EBC Yellowstuff brake pads... Be careful, When you need to stop, it makes seatbelts hurt!!!

Any pictures of Weather Tech Cargo on Yukon (NOT XL)

I though Weather techs were hard plastic... I may just get 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Rows... Without the Cargo

    33" tires

Even with the little bit of Rub while turning and backing up... I would have not gone smaller... :D

Any pictures of Weather Tech Cargo on Yukon (NOT XL)

See... For as much as the Weathertech cost, they should fit perfect. And should have guide lines on the underside for cut outs for this very option... I think pictures will make me decide one way or the other... I can get knock offs for about 1/2 the price as Weathertechs...

    Wheel Size

Look at the cost of tires and decide... :D Also consider that bigger wheels with lower profile tires are heavier, take more fuel to accelerate, and take more brakes to stop. Ride quality goes down the drain too. Sure look nice... But that is it!!! If you drive in areas without the smoothest...

new torsion key and rear spacer lift

I really like my 275/60R20... These tires are 33" tall... I do not go off road enough to go with 33x10.5... The 12.5 or wider are great if you want tires to float on deep mud or sand. Otherwise they are just heavier tires...

Need help with lifting the front higher than rear!!!

Just curious, Why would you want the front higher than the rear? Is it for serious off road performance?

    Max Speed Thread (Need proof)

For Speed, I has a motochicle... (Sure the $40,000.00 Red Ducati is nice.... But I have more fun!!!) I think top speed is not relevant because you can pretty much only go straight at top speed... I be more impressed seeing a big SUV with decent handling taking some corners at speed...

I was looking at getting the Weather Tech Cargo liner... The sales person could not tell me if I lose the ability to mount the 3rd row seating or not... Any one with pictures??? I would really appreciate if some one can post pictures... :D Luis

dynod my tahoe and took it to the track

Man you said track... I was thinking circuit. Testing body roll and lateral traction in corners... To learn the limits of handling for emergency situations on a big SUV would be cool... You just went to the drag strip... :D

    New brakes what will fit

I have the 2007 Rotors right now... I like it!!! I am thinking of doing the 2007 1" over, (Which would be 2" over for my 2006.) http://www.ebay.com/itm/301109916149?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 And then, decide the EBC Green, or the EBC Yellow brake pads.

to replace or not to replace shocks.....

How does it ride??? You are probably used to them performing like they do. Because they go bad ever so slowly. Usually, you will only know how bad they are until you ride on new shocks... Quality Shocks last about 50,000 miles... If you have cheaper shocks probably 25,000 miles... If...
