Have a 2003 Tahoe LT and I recently got some 24" rims and I am happy with the size. I also have the oem 17" stocks. My question is what is the biggest brake rotor set up I can fit or is there a set that is the same size as the oem ones but have better stopping power. Now that I got those bigger wheels on it needs better stopping power any ideas.

Well you can go aftermarket and spend more money then your Tahoe is worth. Or less High - Lower end. Or get some from say R-1concepts that are drilled and slotted. And some Russell Stainless steel lines, I would get the rotors for the NNBS. Fronts only and do the brake rotor and caliper swap! It's like 1" more piston space and rotor with some good pads. Or some. bear plus 1's , or willow woods , or SSBC

I went with the nnbs calipers and R-1 concepts drilled and slotted rotors and SS lines too and i`m very happy with them.

My girlfriend borrowed my yukon and when she came back she was impressed by the difference in stopping power when she had to slam on the brakes to avoid an accident. And this came from a woman that wouldn`t notice if the engine fell out of a car until she tried to accelerate from the next traffic light after it fell out.
