My new problem
Replaced Bose amp with salvage yard one and now when I fade to the rear..no sound comes from rear speakers...fronts and sub work fine...but..when I have the front stuff on...there is sound coming from rear door speakers but nothing from the rear pillars....what could be the problem...are all the...- Vdubbin

Sorry for the confusion....the amp wires are plugged in....nothing past the front works..but I think u answered my question in saying that the rears are powered by the amp...gonna have to return the salvage yard amp...thanks ---------- Post added at 09:30 AM ---------- Previous post was at...- Vdubbin

No sound from rear speakers
Just replaced my Bose amp in my 04z71 tahoe...bought one from a salvage yard...only hooked up the wires under the center console so far and now the door chimes and front speakers and sub work but nothing else works...my question is...what powers the rear speakers...is it the amp....or do I need...- Vdubbin

Newbie from packer country
From Green Bay Wi ,,got an 04 tahoe z71...mint condition...only 76k miles..all stock besides aftermarket taillights...18in wheels from newer chev truck and weather tech floor mats all the way around....go pack go...lots of great info on this site...later- Vdubbin

Bose amp???
How do u test a factory Bose amp to see if it still works....I have it removed from the vehicle...radio worked but didn't get any sound from speakers so I pulled the amp and now I need to get it tested somehow- Vdubbin
