    Ok. Got "honest engine" in Roseville ca they gave me a 1500 dollar quote for all lifters. I don't know this shop but in net the are highly rated. Does this sound a little to good to be true?     Ok talked to dealer. Collapsed intake lifter. I asked about AFM and they said if disabled the check engine light will always stay on. Also the want to charge 1900 for just the one lifter and 3200 to replace all. Any thoughts and does anyone know another reliable mechanic in Sacramento California?

    Ok finally got ahold of dealer and they are going to pull valve cover and check valves. He said as soon as he pulls the cover he will be able to pin point problem. And the will do work for free for now. I'll keep u updated.

    Your right. Can't blame anyone yet. And I bought the car at 65000 miles and since then have kept up on it since. I usually do all my own work until something like this pops up so I know it's been taken care of by me. Thanks for the help and defiantly towing it.
