I got my hoe BBT last year and forgot to ask if I can still use E85. My hoe was tuned for 91 and 93. Just wondering what would happen if i put E85 in? Probably a dumb question lol.
Thanks. I figured that. Seems sometimes when I smash the pedal, I can feel it lag a tiny bit like something's holding it back. Guess that's the traction control lol
i have an 07 Tahoe with a BBT. I forgot to ask them if we should have tuned it with traction control off. Does it make a difference? If I turn it off now, will I get even better performance?
200's are considered normal, but if your trans runs at that temp constantly, over time the temp wears the trans down. Cooler is better for the trans. I installed a trans cooler and in the summer, i don't see temps over 165 and winter it averages around 105-120.
I put the KO2 on mine the 275/60/20 and the weight difference was drastic. The black bear tune made up for it plus it's faster with heavier wheels. Those wheels caused me to loose around 4 mpg. The tune made up around 2mpg.
Can't really say if its age or mileage, but mine went bad around 215,000. Also, I'll go with the reman if I was you, but you could also look into performance engines and end paying around the same price or a little more
I've installed two complete sets of new LED bulbs in the cabin. The first started blinking so bad, I purchased new ones. Now, all of the new ones are starting to do the same thing. They all started at the same time. It seems to be a voltage problem, but don't know. I thought LEDS use less...
Yes it's possible. It's all about wiring everything the right way. The main wiring headlight harness would need to be configured. You would basically run the drl lights wiring inline with the headlights. You would have to use a three way connection of some sort, so in the day, both head and...
Tell that dealer to suck it. I hate when salesman say stupid shit like that. The trans fluid should be changed between 60,000-75,000, depending on how hard you run the truck. 97,000 is for grandma that don't go over 2500 rpm lol.
My Tahoe had a bad ticking noise for a while. Reason is, the oil pressure was getting too low, due to the oring on the oil catch pipe in the oil pan. You don't need a new engine. Keep an eye on your oil pressure and if it drops under 20 psi, there's a place to start. Try adding an engine...
