LED bulb in oem/factory headlight

Hey all-

My headlight and subsequently my daytime running light burnt out.

Can I buy LED lights and just put them into the standard Tahoe (2013) headlight assembly? I know they sell HID headlight assemblies but don't want to go that route I don't think.

If so, which one would you recommend?


Is it complicated to replace the lightbulb?

The only LED headlight that will fit in the low beam socket is the one with the woven metal heat sink coming out the back of the bulb, similar to these:

I haven't found much else that will fit without cutting holes in the core support. There's nothing that will work in the high beam socket without cutting holes.

Yeah, the bracket won't let you install LEDS with the fan on the back. Had to get mine shaved.
