Does anyone know what this plug is for?

Another thing to remember. The donor radio has to have the Word BAND to be Bluetooth capable. If it has AM/FM it is not capable of XM, and not capable of Bluetooth. Edit: This is also how you differentiate in-between smart Radios and Dumb Radios. 2003.5-2006 are dumb radios. 2001-2003 are smart...

Does anyone know what this plug is for?

I use a USASpec BT45-Vette for seamless Bluetooth integration on my GM's. Its the kit to use if you have XM, which you wont know until you get a factory deck hooked up, and go thru the bands. I use a USASpec BT45-GM15 without XM. Even if you dont care about the XM, it will still matter. They...

Does anyone know what this plug is for?

I would start by installing a factory deck, and make sure the system in its entirety is working as OEM intended. Also since it has speaker wires, I would go around to every door, and shine a light thru the speaker grill to ensure that there is even a speaker in there. If there are speakers in...

See that confuses me.. They have struts? Are they struts without springs? Edit: Nevermind, they are indeed struts without springs.

Clicked on my supplier link for Summit, and nothing.. Weird. Just a point on these F-Bodys, remember they love to eat the rear axle bump stops. If it aint bad now, it will be soon! Something to check for your customer.

Re Subaru: Thats what happens when Toyota gets involved. They have gotten so much more difficult to work on. I used to be a big fan of Subaru. Then GM started screwing them up, and then Toyota finished the job. Re IROC: Moog control arms are about 92 bucks at Summit (I think). Where as the...

    3800 cooling system from HELL

@OR VietVet - Hopefully you can help my memory here... If memory serves correctly, the water pump bolts to the timing cover, and there 2 water pump gaskets, one on each leg, or a single large one, depending on year. Then a timing cover, and gasket, that the coolant also passes thru, that...

Benelli makes motorcycles? Is this the same company that makes shotguns? I had no idea. Doesnt appear the model you have can even be bought in the US.

    Blue Devil "Rear Main Sealer"

I have used the Blue Devil Rear Main sealer in a front diff with a blown seal. Took about 3 days to seal, and didnt have a drop after that. No other diff problems either. I know I should have replaced the seal, but on the GMT360 with a V8... The inner seal is a royal pain in the arse! Frame...

Brother had his 2016 Ram with the 3.6 at the dealer for a brake service. They found the oil cooler leaking, rear calipers leaking. He has the extended warranty to 100k miles, hes at 96k, and all was covered under warranty. He only had to pay for brake pads.

    Spun Rod Bearing - 2021 Yukon Denali 6.2 L

Its all about the warranty, what does this reman engine offer? If it comes with a 100k warranty, than I would think you are ok... Still expect a bill at the dealer when you go to pick it up. Theres always some part or fluid that isnt covered under warranty..

    Diesel Appropriate?

Rivian is considered a large SUV, has 3 rows. A Toyota Sequoia is a large SUV with 3 rows. A Lexus GX or LX is a large SUV, but I agree about the V6 thing, especially with the recent recall. Maybe look for one that is a V8? GM's AFM/DOD is a junk system, has been forever. Add in the lifter...

    Diesel Appropriate?

At 10 miles a day, I know I would be looking at a Hybrid or a EV. Toyota Highlander Hybrid, Lexus Hybrid/EV, Chevy Bolt/Blazer EV, Tesla Model Y/X, Rivian, etc. Diesel is out for what was mentioned above. It needs stretches to get the SCR/Catalyst hot. And I would not be buying any gasoline...

Speaking of... I found the coolest tool. Its a wobble extension, of sorts. It cant handle large amounts of torque. But its a great tool for working in tight dashboard areas.. Like blend door actuators, or hidden inside fender bolts. The ones where you can only get one click on your ratchet...
