Thank you @bigdog9191999 for the response. I just replaced the shocks a few months ago so hopefully that isn't the case. I'm going to look at the bushings and bumpstops first and then look over the whole front suspension as well. I will let you know. Again I appreciate the response.
Can't quite seem to figure out what is causing what I think of as body roll on my 2005 Yukon XL 1500. When going down the road if it is slightly bumpy then it bounces, starting at the right rear, up to the front drivers side, and if I just move the steering wheel slightly each direction real...
I agree that I would rather it be level or a 1/2" higher in the back than in the front. I will have to talk to him or figure out how to fix it myself when I am off next week. Appreciate the feedback.
Finally got my Belltech lowering kit on that I bought from @NORCAL SS last year! 2/4 drop
Front- 35.5" and dropped to 33.5"
Back- 36" and dropped to 33"
Not really concerned with the 1/2" difference.
Got my Spyder Halo Projector lights and parking lamp housings put in today making the front end look even better! Appreciate everyone on these forums because you all give me ideas to modify the Yukon and how to details to fix things too.
It is Rust Oleum Gloss Black Peel Coat. Similar to the plast-dip but already had the glossy finish to it. It should last quite a while because I put at least 6 coats on it. Plan is to actually have it all painted when I get the hood and roof painted. For prep all I did was scrub the parts...
Transforming the black bus (05 Yukon Xl) a little at a time! Got the front murdered out today! Even sprayed the front air dam and valance. Spyder halo projector lights are here (black housings, clear lenses) and waiting on the parking lamps to arrive today or tomorrow. Also did the back...
When you get the roof rack off I would be curious to see pictures with it gone and the running boards gone. I have considered doing that to mine as well.
Thank you @mizzouguy ! I am looking at the stepper motors right now on Ebay. Looks simple but not sure about doing the soldering myself. Might give it a try, if not I will contact the guy who replaced all of them a few years ago fir me. I am just glad to figure out what it was.
Ever since I put the new battery in the truck has been running great. Either the stepper motor is out or the needle has broken on the voltage gauge. It moved to 14 the day after everything happened then slowly went back down to 14. The next day it was up to 19 and now it is literally pointing...
I don't have a voltmeter but I will ask around at work and I am sure I can find someone. I appreciate your reply.
He may have said volts but I had been up for so long after working my 12 hour shift that I may have heard him wrong.
I got in my 05 Yukon XL this morning after work and it wouldn't start. Ended up jumping it after a little bit but the battery voltmeter on the dash stayed 9 the whole 32 miles home. I go to Autozone and have them check the battery and the alternator both. Battery was 99% charged and he said...
