    Does it help to diagnose the issue knowing whether they were able to wash and detail the car? They washed the car pulled it out of the car wash to vacuum and clean the interior. Presume they turned it off at this point. When they finished detailing the interior it wouldn't start again.

    Sorry. The detailer (car wash detailer) discovered the issue while they had the Yukon. We towed it to a Christian Brothers franchise and they couldn't figure it out because the diagnostic tools they use wouldn't show anything at all. We then towed it to a dealer. They are trying now.

    Our 2012 Yukon Denali was running perfect. Took it to the detailer and they said it wouldn't start. Battery is charged. Also the rear hatch won't open now. It's almost like the vehicle won't let it start because the computer thinks the car is in gear? Anyone familiar with this issue...

    I checked under the hood and... Yes.... It has a transmission cooler and the display on the instrument panel shows the transmission fluid temperature. Home run!

    Thank you for your help. Does a 2012 Yukon Denali not come with some sort of transmission cooler. The manual says the vehicle has an 8000lb towing capacity. Is that only if the vehicle is towing in the salt flats?

    I'll be towing a 6000lb camper this fall in Georgia about 90 minutes at a time. Does the stock Yukon Denali have sufficient transmission cooling?
