    Hi All, The seat heater module on my 2010 Escalade is toast and needs replacing, one of the relays just buzzes. Do anyone know if the Ford truck module will work, the plugs/pins look identical.

    Put a 9/16 wrench on the TC shift shaft,with encoder motor removed, see if you can move it to 4 high. Might have to jack up the rear diff so axle will roll, while trying to shift.

    That's like asking if one prefers blonde over red heads. I use both, whatever is available. The last one I did, It was felpro, like in the picture.

    I have wrapped masking tape, I perfer yellow, around the scoket , write two marks on it 90 degrees apart. Put a reference start mark on the head.

    I remove the front tires and inner plastic fenders to get at the manifolds, remove the MM bolts and jack up engine with floor jack and a piece of 2x4 under the oil pan, remove mounts.     There's a coupling on the steering shaft about 6-8'' below the top of the steering wheel, you have to remove the plastic housing/trim below the wheel so you can see the steering shaft, you can get at the screws from/through that area, just turn the wheel to rotate the shaft to view the screws...

    That adaptor cavity has trans fluid in it, that's why it leaks, also if the TC input seal fails it can dump the trans fluid out through the TC vent. We removed a TC, from my 02 Silverado HD plow truck, yesterday,,, gasket leak.

    There’s a seal on the transfer case and paper gasket between the two. I usually put a smig of rtv on the gasket surface before bolting up
