    Transmission gears 2-4 not going in.

    From gear 1 i have to step on it to like 4000rpm let go of the gas and it will go into 3rd gear. Had the code p1870. Anyone had this problem? What do I do to fix it? Thanks.

    Yeah I definitely removed the right relay, and I got so pissed off I took the tank down to check the wiring harness to the fuel pump. The ground pin in the connector seemed to be pushed inside.     I turn off the truck and the pump still runs. I have to unplug my battery cable to stop it because even when I pull the fuel pump relay it still runs. What's up with that? Is my pump bad?     Question about transmission replacement.

    So, I have a 96 Yukon in which I need to replace the tranny. It has the electric push button 4x4. I found a tranny at a good price but it's from a Tahoe with the floor shifter for the 4x4. Would that swap work or would I have to do some serious modification?

    Thanks for the tip 95TwinTT. Luckily the underneath frame and most of the other components have little to no rust so I shouldn't have too much trouble with the bolts, but I will definitely spray some PB Blaster on them.

    Yeah I was underneath while having someone put it in gear, I was listening to the motor and I put my hand on it and it was vibrating...I don't know if there is an easier way of checking it?
