I’ve got a 2010 Denali AWD. Last week I spoke with the tech at rough country. THEY DO NOT RECOMEND their lifts for the AWD Denali. They told me that I will have drivetrain vibration at highway speeds. I love my deainamd drive mostly highways somvibration is a NO GO. However I did speak with the...
Thank you again for your help. Honestly I owe you big time for all the help. If you are ever in Chicagoland let me know. I owe you atleast a proper steak dinner.
I figure I go in a road trip in 3 weeks. Going to order everything this weekend and then when I get back, I’ll be installing it. Can’t wait! Plus I figure if it does end up having vibration I can always add the shaft later. I did have a question about the rear spacers. With the stock 20” rims...
Spoke with the guys at skyjacker, who claim that kit does not need anything done to the shaft and that there is no vibration. I think I’m going to stick with the skyjacker as I used to have one on an old pickup and loved it dearly. Plus I’d really like to keep the smooth ride of the autoride...
Man that bulletproof is half the cost of the truck! The skyjacker or rough country will get me the same height and would be affordable but each do it differently.

Thank you so much! I was not able to find that CST lift as it’s been discountinued for some time but the nice gentlemen over at performance lifts was able to explain to me that just about any kit will bolt in but they all will have the dreaded vibration at highway speeds. However he does have...
I went onto CST’s website and put in AWD Yukon and it seems they don’t have any lift kits for this vehicle. Just for a 4wd. I shift them an email asking if they carry a solution. Fingers crossed. I really would like to lift this truck this spring.
Was talking to a lady from Rough Country and they said that they don’t sell a lift for a AWD Yukon but do for a 4WD. I had been looking at this kit just to get a little more lift then the leveling kit I have on it now. It says it’s for AWD Yukon Denalis but I don’t see the front driveshaft that...
Man I am so confused I need some help/guidance. My truck is a 2010 Yukon Denali AWD. What real lift kit fits this truck? Every site I go to says that the kit is available for 2WD and 4wd but not AWD. After throwing on the leveling kit I’m now interested in a summer project of putting a proper...
Next up I’m gonna try and media blast these stock rims and have them powder coated black. Then maybe black out the windows and start ditching all the chrome.
Well my exhaust showed up last night. Opted fora cheap Flowmaster 44 1 in 1 out Didnt like the look of duals on this truck so piped it out the back and ditched the silly silencer. I wish my phones mic picked up the sound better. Its nice and aggressive, pisses off the neighbors at 4:30 in the...
Hahaha. That I wish. It’s my work. I use it whenever I want and this is the slow time of year. Just put in the vehicle lift to be able to work on some other projects. So far it’s been really nice.
I got those from Rough Country. Was really easy to install too. Just make sure you get an...
Haven’t decided on what size tires yet. Gonna have to lurk the forums and see what other guys have done. It’s sits perfectly level actually. Here is the front and rear heights after I put the kit in.
Well I have gone and done it now. Decided I no longer liked the rake of my 2010 Denali so I got a 2” leveling kit in the front. Just at the alignment shop now having it setup so I don’t destroy my tires. Here’s the before. Next post will be the after.
Just got a 2” front leveling kit for the Denali. Was cheap under 80 bucks. I probably just opened Pandora’s box in terms of wrenching on this truck other then brakes, oil, fluids, etc..... I’ll post some before/after in lifted section once I do it this week.
That’s what I was getting at. The air ride. I’ve got it in the Denali and I keep seeing that all these kits don’t work with air ride or AWD but work with 4wd
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL. My last question is what did you do about your auto ride ? Did you just ditch it altogether or use threaded rod to reconnect it? I’m about to pull the trigger in the same lift but this was my last “hurdle” to address before I do.
Oops sorry forgot to mention that. I’m just north of Chicago up in Waukegan. Anyone else from northern Illinois here? Funny. That Tahoe took a beating and still didn’t look nearly as bad as the little Corolla that decided to dart out in front of it. If you look close enough there are parts of...
