If they are telling you that you don't have it, you can always pull up your RPO codes (see attachment) and look for "KSG" which is the RPO Code:
KSG
Adaptive Cruise Control - Advanced
Adaptive Cruise Control - Camera
Adaptive Cruise Control
Cruise control, adaptive, full range

Ha! Me too! Right index finger to the start button, after release, left index finger to the "auto shut down" button. It's to the point now where I don't even need to think about it!
FWIW, I have a 2021 Tahoe Z71 I purchased in November 2020 (Manufactured August 24th, 2020), so one of the first ones in the production run released early into the wild... It has had 6 recalls (one inspection for proper installation of a seat belt parts; 2 requiring software updates; three...
Just extended mine this past Saturday. Dennis at Laurel Chevrolet is great to work with (got my extended warranty for my Corvette through him several years ago). So my 2021 Tahoe (purchased in November of 2020) is now covered until 9/30/2028). Price differences with and without deductible...
Like everyone else, I received the notice yesterday for my 2021 Tahoe Z71 just as I pulled in the garage after topping off the tank for a trip to Chicago today. As you can imagine, I was concerned that if I downloaded it, what might happen and could cancel our trip. I rolled the dice and...
When ever I see these questions, I can't help but think about this meme:
I've had 4 Tahoes and 2 Yukons since 2002 and haven't had any "major" problems with any of them that would make me say I'd never buy one again. Sure, I've had them need various repairs (leaking power steering, leaking AC...
Interesting... My new IPhone 14 is arriving tomorrow (upgrading from an IPhone 11). It's not the "Plus" but I'll keep an eye on this to see if I experience the same thing. The wireless charging for my IPhone 11 has worked without any problems. Thanks for posting!!
According to this article, the 2021 Tahoe does not have the eLSD. You can always look to see if your Middle East spec Tahoe for what ever reason has the G96 RPO code for eLSD.

There is a lot of discussion regarding this over in the "Corvette Forum." Here's just one that may help:

You don't need to do these updates and it doesn't lock up your screen if you don't. You can actually opt-out of getting these OTA updates if that is what you want. That said, I did have some trouble getting this last update as noted in my earlier post, but I now have the latest update...
My mistake; I guess I should have remembered reading the owners manual better which says:
Downloading Over-the-Air vehicle software
updates requires Internet connectivity, which
can be accessed through the vehicle’s
built-in 4G LTE connection, if equipped and
active. If required, data plans...
For my situation, the problems all started the last week in November and temperatures were well above freezing. I'm familiar with the article about the updates and followed all the recommendations. I'm starting to think it may have been a battery issue (State Of Charge), because it seemed to...
The first time I tried to update I got this when I checked back to see if it had been completed:
Tried for several days and kept getting the same message. So I brought it to the dealer and they said the infotainment system needed updating and they did that. Got it home and thought I'd check...
I got the OTA update notification several weeks ago and started the update which looked like all was going well and left the vehicle. I came back later and saw this on the screen:
So I waited a day or so and tried again; same notification. I did this several times now... same-same. So I...
That's a good question; I don't know. Two years ago when I did mine, they had the "build-your-own" capability with this offer and you could see exactly what the discount was for the base price and each individual option, but now I don't see that capability. Maybe right now all they are offering...
I just got an E-mail reminder from GM (probably because Veterans Day is next week) about the discount offers they have for Military Veterans. I took advantage of this discount back in November 2020 when I purchased my 2021 Tahoe Z71. The MSRP was $65,925 and I received a $3385 discount off that...
Living in a HOT (summer) climate area and after having an all black interior for 4+ years, I've vowed to never do that again and have gone with lighter interior (and exteriors) for several years now. I really like the Tahoe Z71 "Gideon/very Dark Atmosphere" they offered. It's a little darker...
Yes, I have the "Gideon/Very Dark Atmosphere" and really like it. That was a must for me as I didn't want black; I've avoided black interiors living in an area with very hot summers.
Here's another pic. One reason I really like this color is that it doesn't show the dirt as much; by that I mean that we just took a 2600 mile road trip through several rain storms and it still appeared clean after 2 weeks on the road!
It looks like some of our good old Texas/Oklahoma red dirt to me that just didn't get washed off later when driving in the rain. Personally, I would go to a do-it-yourself car wash place and try cleaning those areas real good with their high pressure system and see what it looks like then...
It always scares me when I hear about the early model year lifter issues. My Z71 was manufactured in August 2020 and I purchased in November 2020. I heard that changing the oil early on (and often) may prevent this problem from occurring, so I did my first oil change at 2500 miles, another at...
I sometimes have a hard time understanding all this disdain for OnStar and what it can do for our personal safety. Of course I get it that people don't want to pay for these services for a number of their own personal reasons, so I get that part. At the age of 73, I embrace improving technology...
