Yes I agree a converter will not give you any better solution. That’s what I use now. I purchased the 17/18 module that has a hdmi port. Hi everyone. I purchased the 2018 hdmi/hmi module on ebay hoping to fit it in my 2015 Yukon. There was a lot of talk of why it might or might not work. After trying it it definitely is not plug and play :-(. The 2018 model has a 6pin vs the 12pin on the 2015/16 module. I even tried only plugging...- UNICORNDAD
