You guys put up some real beauties there! I’m still adjusting to life without an OBS. As are my neighbors lol! We’re all car guys and we always hung out in the driveway as I worked on it. I had to change a DRL on the new ride and suddenly there were 5 guys there with beer! We’d had nothing to...
Sorry, here is Bose link. I didn't realize you had already specified. Make sure Y91 is on your glove box sticker.
This basically sits between your HU and the vehicle wiring and adds RCA outputs for an amp. This gets you the audio signal, you will still have to wire up amp to power, then to sub...
I have used these products in the past:
https://catalog.pac-audio.com/catalog/audio-interfacing/aoem-gm24
works well, simple install and good integration.
Different unit if you have the Bose system.
Plans are to keep it nice, maybe a headlight upgrade when it’s time.
I’d like to delete the Denali body molding but meh. It boogies pretty good as-is, it’s my daily driver so nothing too crazy.
Replaced rear window washer motor. The old one has disintegrated somehow (battery or radiator proximity?)
New truck to me but everything else is great so far!
‘05 Denali w/72K miles
LOVING the 6.0!

So on and off I’ve been dealing with P0300 and misfires on 3&4 at highway speed in passing gear. Turns out the culprit was a loose gas cap.
Hope this helps someone else.
Was chatting with a client and he offered their ‘05 Denali from CO at a price I couldn’t pass up.
The rear brakes on my ‘99 were grabby and I still have some parts on my upgrade list I can’t use on the ‘05. I want it right when I sell it.
Could be your plug wires. I had a ticking that sounded like valves, fiddled with #2 (where the sound was) and moving the boot made the ticking more and less noisy. Cheap connectors to the plug weren’t holding tight.
I learned from my Camaros, 2x99s and 1 02, all leather w/t-tops in AZ and TX. Cover the seats unless you’re out being fancy. Helps the bolster wear tremendously.
I’ll probably use some kind of seat cover for a bit to help them along. The odd seat shape makes me wonder how well it would work long term.
But first, headers and a mad max supercharger popping out of the hood
