    3 transmission codes on startup

Thanks for the replies, after reading a few threads I want to add in a timeline that may help. Things about fuel pressure/ fuel pump, wire harness etc have perked my interest So before a few days ago in which I replaced the intake gasket and installed serviced injectors, I was noticing higher...

    3 transmission codes on startup

I tool a look, and the wire loom is away from the shield. Bad angle on the pic but the loom is not touching the metal. I also saw the thread by @Apach 031 regarding the ground and will look at that also. I want to mention, I also had my OBD adapter plugged in when this happened. Had this...

    3 transmission codes on startup

I cleared all the codes and it goes into gear fine now, haven't driven yet as I want to hear what some say first.

    3 transmission codes on startup

2012 Denali 147K miles Yukon drives perfect, no shifting issues, I drove home from work and parked it. Came back 8 hours later I did a remote start and the engine started then immediately shut off, I figured a fresh CEL. I restarted with the key then pulled these codes. Does this sound like a...

    Performing ALC for Z55

Same. I saw it in the Tech 2 if you select the Z95 option but obviously did not want to go down that road.

    Performing ALC for Z55

OE compressor for Arnott compressor. I added the Arnott Z55 shocks awhile back.

    Performing ALC for Z55

I want to ask this just to be sure, but with the Z55 suspension, you only perform the ALC and not the bumpstop correct? I have read you perform ALC and bumpstop after replacing components but the bumpstop is only for Z95? I see on the Tech 2 the bumpstop option is under the Z95 code, but want...

    Probably need new O2 sensors?

You asked me to keep us posted, and after my 1st long road trip with the Delphi upstream O2 sensors, I noticed about a 15% drop in MPG for the whole trip down. I could easily get 19.5-20 MPG on the DIC, real world about 19. This trip has been about 17 MPG. The values (voltages) on the torque...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Replaced the OE air compressor in the 2012 Yukon, sounded like a box of marbles. Huge props to Arnott, they couldn't have made this any easier. Much quieter now

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

2012 Yukon, replaced steering rack bushings, had alot of back and forth play, about 1/4" easy. Out with the old... New Dorman 523-267 Just make sure they are straight before pressing, a few hits with a hammer until they are seated keeping both inline with each other. Also did the ring...

Resistor value for rear Z55 shocks

2012 Yukon Denali with Z55, if I wanted to place a resistor on the rear connections, is it the same 3..9 ohm as the fronts? Mainly for troubleshooting, just don't want the CEL.

    Steering rack bushings worn?

The bushings seem doable with a C-press, hoping by just re-securing the tie rod ends with no movement on the threads would alter the alignment. I think those brackets are for the 2500's?? Not sure.

    Steering rack bushings worn?

2012 Yukon XL 1500 140K miles The front end is tight, ball joints, control arms, tie rods, no leaks on the rack. When turning the wheel I can see about 1/4" of moment, curious if this is excessive. If so, are they replaceable, do the bushings just press in and out? Quick vid.

Is my front strut cartridge bad?

Well, I believe I may have found the culprit. I sprayed my control arm bushings in hopes the thunking sound might be a bad bushing. After spraying them the noise ceased for a few days, then came back. I sprayed again and same deal, couple days later it was making the noise. So on the 3rd spray...

    Probably need new O2 sensors?

Will do, I agree with you when dealing with electrical components to keep it OE. I couldn't find the OE on Rock Auto, so I will surely monitor economy and driveability, any hit on MPG they are coming out for sure. First two drives have been very favorable though. I will start another thread as...

    Question about replacing fuel lines

This is on a 2012 XL Denali, 140K miles. While replacing my upstream O2 sensors, I noticed a small amount of rust on the fuel line under the black plastic retainer that also secures the O2 sensor. Doesn't look too bad, but I have been debating replacing my fuel pump as preventive maintenance...

    Probably need new O2 sensors?

I wanted to add to this. I just changed both my upstream sensors, I noticed the tips were different with the new Denso sensors. The sensors I removed only had a few holes near the tip, but the denso had numerous holes the full length of the tip. How much different are these, if any...not sure...

    New Akebono pads squealing

Yeah, I was surprised to find all the play. Video starts with left to right, then up and down. Two different sets of Akebono pads did this, OE and Wagners fit perfect.

    New Akebono pads squealing

I swapped out my rear Wagner fleet pads as they were nearing the last 25% for the Akebono 1194. I did not realize the new pads came without hardware...(sigh) but my old hardware seemed good. I needed the 1194A. When I installed them, I noticed the fit was a little sloppy in the hardware. My...

Is my front strut cartridge bad?

If needed, I was thinking I could remove any control from the computer to alter the damping. Thus leaving the strut void of any changes to damping.

Is my front strut cartridge bad?

I need to clarify. My current setup is OE, factory harness connected to the strut. I do not have a resistor connected to the harness, I also do not have a CEL. I fabricated the resistor IN CASE I need to use it. No codes, replaced OE struts at approx 120K miles. Mechanic is definitely...

Is my front strut cartridge bad?

Not too bad, just had alignment done and I had the guy check to rule out them moving too much. I will get a pic of them later. What it seems to do is the strut compresses but stops, then releases. Like moving your finger on a piece of glass..keep it moving it glides, but stop and start again...
