    The 2 Doors are now Tweeners . . .

I think the 2drs are falling into the same category as the SWB trucks. Chevy really seems to have cornered this market with the trucks for pretty much all of the generations. I'd love to have a 2wd and 4wd Tahoe/Blazer from each generation between 67-99. I'd also love to have a SWB from each...

Anything newer than your truck off a 6 lug full size chevy will fit.

What did you do to your OBS GMT400 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Just in time for winter... I fixed the passenger side door handle again. This is not something I should be this good at. What a horrible design. I also had a minor cut-out on my stereo in the right door speaker. I pulled the radio out (something else I've gotten too good at) and found a cut in...

Male to Female USB Power Port Socket

I've used two of these with great results. They insert from the front with the nut on the back. I can't quite see how the one you ordered would fit right but I might just be confused. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NAMU8KY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

[SOLVED] Fast blinking after Turn Signal LED bulb swap

Once you start throwing patches into the equation... all bets are off. The information I provided is for replacing lamps in the factory housings. That said... if the whole tail light assembly is LED, you might be onto something.

[SOLVED] Fast blinking after Turn Signal LED bulb swap

You should not have gotten a hyperflash issue from putting LEDs in the DRLs. That is a problem you get from swapping LEDs into the turn signals. The weirdness of this leads me to think more along the lines of a grounding problem. LED DRLs: No change needed - highly recommended as it will slow...

    Dave's 1995 Tahoe LS 4X4 2dr

I replaced the blower motor today. Once you've replaced the blower motor cover, going back in and replacing the motor is easy.

    Dave's 1995 Tahoe LS 4X4 2dr

I forgot to add that I changed my courtesy lights in the door panels. I mentioned trouble-shooting the passenger side above (corroded connector / broken wire above). I found these on Amazon and like them much better than the OEM version:

    Dave's 1995 Tahoe LS 4X4 2dr

I bought the wheels off of Craigslist. They are Silverado wheels off of a 2019 or 2018 (I can't remember which). I got the set for $250. https://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/wto/d/beaverton-chevy-silverado-suburban/7383035161.html I've been doing a bit more. I changed out the headlights and...

    Battery Cable for 1995 Tahoe LS 2dr 4x4 5.7l

I'm trying to find a new battery cable (positive) for my 1995 2dr. The search is turning out to be a little more difficult than I thought it would be. The main terminal should have 3 leads with one going to the starter (about 36" with a heat shield), one going to the alternator (about 36" with a...

Trying to find a battery cable for a 1995 Tahoe LS 4x4 5.7l

This looks like the alternator and starter side, but doesn't have the long wire to the fuse box: https://www.autozone.com/batteries-starting-and-charging/battery-cable/p/acdelco-battery-cable-2sx41f1b/118707_0_0 I just can't find anything with all 3.

    Dave's 1995 Tahoe LS 4X4 2dr

Thanks to a lot of help from East302, I was able to figure out why my passenger door courtesy lamp wasn't working. Pulling the kick panels is not particularly fun. Pulling the pin from the connector, cleaning it up, reshaping it and re-crimping it was easier than pulling that panel off.

1995 Tahoe LS 2dr - No passenger courtesy light

OK... figured out which panel it was behind. In my business, we have a special phrase that absolutely nobody else uses: Smoking gun. Thanks for the help, East302!

1995 Tahoe LS 2dr - No passenger courtesy light

I'm referring to the light in the bottom half of the door. My glove box and footwell lights work fine. Thanks for posting the schematic. I'm not sure what the IP Courtesy Lamp is. Regardless, it looks like everything is wired back to the fuse box. I can't get 12v across the circuit or to ground...

    Dave's 1995 Tahoe LS 4X4 2dr

I changed out the driver's outside door handle this weekend. That is fun! It took about 2 hours and involved taking the door completely apart. I'm going to do a bit more research and see if I could have done it just by removing the interior panel. There's one clip that would have made that not...

I want to put in some rear speakers (or subs) in my '97 Tahoe 2-door

I kind of have to agree with the 1st reply. The speakers in the 2drs (when replaced with modern stuff) provide a full sound to the interior of the rig. I'd suspect adding speakers somewhere on the sides in the rear might give you a, "I think it sounds better?" kind of experience. If you're big...

1995 Tahoe LS 2dr - No passenger courtesy light

What would I be checking for? The button seems to work. The driver's side courtesy light comes on no problem. Everything comes on (that is supposed to) except the passenger side courtesy light. Does anyone know where these wires terminate (the source)?

    Door access panel?

The odd thing with the blank plates is that they'd be susceptible to flex every time you closed the door. They have a very small border for the screw hole that could easily break. I think I'll go with the vents instead of the blank unless someone knows of a downside? It seems to be something GM...

    Door access panel?

I was able to find them used but couldn't find anything new either flat or vented. Parts yard it is. I hate buying 20 year old plastic.

Thanks! That's what I was looking for. Do you happen to know the number for the left side?

Wow... I was looking for something cheap and crappy like the OEM ones... south of $100.

    Door access panel?

I actually don't know what it's called. It's this panel: Are replacements for these available?
