    I had corrosion around the wheel bead on our old 2008 Escalade. Chrome wheels. It wasn't alot but must have been enough as the tire shop cleaned it up, remounted the wheel and it didn't leak after that. The soapy water should show where it's leaking at. I would have hoped the Firestone store...

    I have a 2012 F150 and concur that the F150 rides better than our 2015 Denali XL. That being said I've had both Arnott and GM replacement struts and shocks. The only thing I can suggest is get the trim height calibration done.

    Striker plate cover, who has them?

    I found the other 3 covers last night when I went to change out the cabin air filter. They were in the glove box in that RH side pocket. Either I was blind or didn't pay much attention to what was there all the times I've opened the glove box. Regardless, they are now installed.

    I hear yeah people suck at maintenance. My experience the pcv gets clogged because people like to neglect changing their oil. But 15k to replace it. No offense but that's throwing MONEY away. Maybe check it every 15k and make sure it still works or clean it. Like I said, nothing in the owners...

    Not to disagree but I don't see anything in the owners manual on replacing the pcv. Even doing a word search it's not mentioned. Crankcase, etc....this is in the pdf version. Not saying you can't replace it if you feel like it, but if you service your vehicle properly should last a long long...

    Same here. Front doesn't absorb small bumps very well. Relearn ect, still does it. Puzzling.

    Good question on what trim these got installed. My CT6 has them, look exactly the same. I'm more curious of who on the board has them installed and what model trim are they. I only found one other post on here about them.

    So an interesting find when we got back from our trip. I was vacuuming the sand out and looked under the passenger seat and found a plastic plate. Thought it maybe from one of my wife's phone holders. So today I googled the part number and found out it's a door striker plate cover...

    So looking at the ebay pictures it looks like the y-pipe is nice and round as it goes under the transmission. Can you verify and also what's the diameter?

    Vents in the back of seats

    I maybe wrong, but I think it's been noted on this forum before that the earlier models had "cooled" seats and the later ones had "ventilated" seats. The vent ports in the back of the cooled seats blow hot air out when the cooled seat feature is activated.

    Do you need stainless? You might talk to a local muffler shop that makes custom systems to see what they could do and charge.

    It's better than stock. The stock bulbs deteriorate over time so they have a better out put than stock. They are not like the LED bulbs you see some people with. Those are alot brighter.

    Replace rear air ride shocks with standard shocks

    Get a set of passive Arnotts with the resistors built in or get xingeering plug in resistors if you want to go that route. You are safe either way. K2s were built with regular and magnaride shocks. My advice do some research on this forum for what people have gone with and what works.

    Did the message come on after the leveling kit? No message after the dealer replaced the shocks and struts correct?

    Towing woes

    I have read numerous posts of people on here saying their air pump comes on after the vehicle has sat overnight. My air pump never did that with the Arnotts. Just making a point that the BWI shocks bleed air, yeah they maybe bad once they start doing that. Or is it a system test for the pump?
