Looking to level my Tahoe with Autoride

Like some suggested, you can get an all thread cut to length or the adjustable bar. When I did a baby lift on my 16 suburban, Maxx suspension sent a piece of metal bracket that moved the stock sensor bar up with shock extensions. Magnetic/autoride still functioning, rides like factory.

Exhaust Manifold Bolt Repair Kit - Help - 2019 Tahoe LT 5.3L

I traded an 07 Escalade for this 16 Suburban. Just starting to learn about this generation. I don’t recall with my Escalade, but are the cracks on the manifolds normal? It’s on the passenger side also. And before putting everything back together, are the engine mounts a common problem like in...

Exhaust Manifold Bolt Repair Kit - Help - 2019 Tahoe LT 5.3L

Well, I don’t get to try out the extractor tool, lol. After removing the manifold it gave me all the room needed to get a channel lock in there. Loosing and tightening it back and forth.

Deep creep did wonders, zip all 3 out with no problem. Should have done it from the get go ‍♂️. Manifold removal is a must!

Exhaust Manifold Bolt Repair Kit - Help - 2019 Tahoe LT 5.3L

Thank you guys for all the suggestions!! I tried doing it the easy/cheat way and just end up wasting time. In hindsight, I should’ve just removed the manifolds from the get go, but had to use the vehicle today. I will get back at it this weekend and see how it goes. I don’t have a welder, so...

    Radiator upgrade

Hey guys, my 02 Tahoe will be needing a new radiator. It currently has a 28” wide one and I was looking into upgrading to a 34” one for a future e-fan conversion. Would anyone happen to know if the mechanical fan shroud still be able to mount to the wider radiator for the meantime?

    Exhaust option for smell

After doing high flow cats and a retune, smell got a lot better. Tuner also told me my tune was just way too rich and can probably do without the cats also with the new tune.

    Exhaust option for smell

Lol man I hear that. The Tahoe is my budget little build so I went with them cause of the price also. I most likely get kooks or something along that class for the Escalade.

    Exhaust option for smell

Yes, but it goes up and down quite a bit. I left it like that for the night, it got too dark and cold, not going to lie I bitched out. Lol

Little update, got them in. Just waiting to weld them up tomorrow and see what happens. Hopefully it doesn’t tone it down too much. I like the way it idles without them.

    Exhaust option for smell

Not at the moment. Kinda wish I would have just went with the y pipe, the x pipe set up gets really close to the tranny, when it jumps back up over the other side. I bet it’s loud AF lol. I had 2 3” flow fx after the x pipe, really loved the sound at idle, but driving around was too much. I went...

    Exhaust option for smell

Thanks for your input guys, really appreciate it!!!!! I ordered some flowmaster cats and hoping I can fit them in. That’s what I get for trying to take the easy way out and ordering the speed engineering dual x pipe to minimize the amount of welds I had to do .

    Exhaust option for smell

Hello Everyone, I’m in need of your expertise. Has anyone heard of running high flow cats after an x pipe application just for the sole purpose of toning down exhaust fumes? My 02 Tahoe has speed engineering LTs and speed engineering dual x pipe. Love the sound, but the smell is just becoming...

Lowered Tahoe takes bumps in rear too hard

Which model# rear shocks are you running? I was using belltech 2414ff with the belltech drop shock extenders, switch to 2410ff, djm rk2007, and did free travel mod. Made a big difference

    Lowered 08 escalade progress

Esky looks great!!! Question, when you say remove the lower control arm bracket, did you mean the whole djm relocation bracket and shock extenders all together and used the belltech shock extenders to achieve your desired drop?? Also did you use the factory spring coil isolator top and bottom or...
