Got stuck in tunnel - need advice for ODBII scan tool

Hi Alan, CDOT was really great. I swear it took less than three minutes from when we stalled out to when they had us hooked up and ready to tow. We have been going through the tunnel in various motorhomes over the years and never had any problems (until now).

Thanks, Chris, this looks like a great gadget with excellent reviews on Amazon. We have a couple of Android devices so it should work with those.

Got stuck in tunnel - need advice for ODBII scan tool

A couple of weeks ago my wife and I got stuck about 15 yards into the Eisenhower tunnel here in Colorado, coming up from Denver on our way to Breckenridge. We were towing our 6,000 lbs travel trailer and the drive was uneventful until then, the transmission running 220-230 and the engine about...

    Transmission/Transfer Case service cost

Another local transmission shop quoted $175 for the transmission fluid and filter. I assume they have to drop the pan in order to replace the filter? Also, I do not see anything about front and rear differential service interval in my user manual. Are you guys having these services at 100K as...

    Transmission/Transfer Case service cost

The dude did not say anything about a flush. Should I ask for the flush, I know some manufacturers do not recommend a flush.

    Transmission/Transfer Case service cost

Hi, I am due for a transmission/transfer case service and was quoted $227 (by Firestone) out the door for transmission fluid change, new transmission filter and transmission case fluid change. Does that seem like an OK cost estimate? Also, anything else I should be keeping in mind at this...

Active Fuel Management on 2007 Nali?

Since mine is a 2007 6.2 LF92 I don't believe I have the AFM. Also, big thanks to Breanne at GM for sending me the build-sheet and production date for my Denali (4/4/2007).

    How many Miles?

Just traded our '03 Denali with 100,700 miles. I took it in for service last week and was told I needed all new steering components plus front shocks. It was also time for new tires and the quote for the whole job was close to $2,500, called wife and got permission to buy a 2007 Denali XL.:)

Active Fuel Management on 2007 Nali?

I just upgraded from a 2003 Denali to a 2007 Denali XL. Does anyone know if this has the Active Fuel Management system? I looked in the user manual and did not see any reference to it. Thanks.

    Denali Headlight Replacement Question

I am looking at replacing the headlights on my '03 Denali, looking for something that is not only going to look good, but also illuminate the road at night. The current ones are all faded from the Colorado sun and they they don't seem to put out much light anymore. Looking for a direct...

Alright, we've got mpg and overall miles, how about how many hours?

That means over 90 mph as your average speed over the life of the truck, something doesn't add up.

    2003 Denali Shock Replacement Question

Hi 04Denali, did you have to do anything to prevent error messages when replacing with regular shocks? Also, what kind of shocks did you put on? Thanks.

    2003 Denali Shock Replacement Question

I have a 2003 Denali that we bought a few months ago primarily to tow our travel trailer (about 6,000 lbs). The problem I am having is that after towing for a few miles the rear squats down several inches. The empty ride height (ground to fender) is about 37 inches, with the trailer hooked up it...

    2003 Denali Key

Does anyone know if the 2003 Denali uses a transponder key? I only got one set of key/transmiter when I purchased it last month. I found a transponder online, but I am not sure if the key needs to be a special transpoder key. Thanks.

New 2003 Yukon Owner - have questions

Thanks for your answers, here is a photo taken on the dealer's lot. As you can see the lights are pretty faded, but there seem to be several online sources for inexpensive replacments. This unit already has the trans temp gauge. Also, what is the typically coolant temp on these? Mine seem to...

New 2003 Yukon Owner - have questions

Hi all, I just picked up a new to us 2003 Yukon Denali with about 84,000 miles. It seems to be in pretty good shape except the speedometer is acting weird. From what I've read here and other places this is a known issue. When I first start out it works OK, then as you drive it keeps dropping...
