They are definitely louder than the stocks! They aren’t terrible though, I don’t know if this vehicle is better insulated than my past trucks. But I have also had Mud Grapplers, Federal MTs and Atturo MTs which were all extremely loud! I am glad it is not near as loud as those!
These are 285/55R22 Nitto Trail Grapplers. No spacers we’re needed for these wheels. I am running a SuspensionMaxx 2.5” leveling kit in the front and stock height in the rear. Thank you!
How are you liking the Toyo ATs? I have been looking into the Nitto Ridge Grapplers but haven't made my mind up for sure yet. I have been noticing the 33x12.50R22 is a bit cheaper than the 285/50R22 for not much difference in size.
Hello All,
I have a 2016 GMC Yukon Denali with a 2.5" Suspension Maxx Front Leveling Kit with stock rear suspension. I have trimmed the whole plastic front bumper air dam off and I also don't mind performing the NorCal mod to the inner fender. I am trying to avoid tire rubbing on any suspension...
Your ride looks awesome! Did you have to have the magnetic ride recalibrated while using the ready lift? I think that’s what I will go with is 33s however I would love 35s! How do you like the girls set up?
Thank you! I ended up going 2.5” by using 4 shims on each side, I had to loosen the upper ball joint but it was not too hard to do so. Just make sure to get a alignment afterwards my angles we’re adjusted pretty bad.
Thank you! I am still shopping around for tires looking at the different options available, I am thinking either all terrain or mud terrain tires. I am going to keep the 22” wheels and yes I installed the lift within a couple hours in my garage.
Replaced the low beams tonight so now all lights on the vehicle are 6000k. 1st picture is low beams and fogs. 2nd picture is lows and highs. 3rd picture is a comparison on the garage door. (Driver is 6000k and passenger is 4300k)
Thank you! Haven’t done too much too the inside yet, bought a set of weather tech floor mats and a iottie phone holder. Ignore the dirty ness of the inside it needs to be cleaned!
I will be replacing the stock low beam HID’s that are around 4300-4500k with aftermarket HID’s with 6000k tonight to better match the DRLs, Highs and Fogs. I will try to update with pictures soon!
That does sound like your ride is getting quite the set up of upgrades! I will have to try to find your thread and check it out! I plan to trim the front bumper valance, get color matched or black gmc emblems, roof rack bars, large more aggressive tires and possibly Cadillac tail lights. Lol and...
I have recently picked up a 2016 GMC Yukon Denali 4x4. I installed a SuspensionMaxx 2.5” leveling kit on the front yesterday and got it aligned today. Other mods that I have done include complete LED conversion and tinted the windows. Look forward to adding more upgrades in the future and get...
