2020 Yukon, I want to operate the garage door opener only when the car is on not as an accessory when the car isn't running. Its a security issue.
Any thoughts as how to move the power wire?
I had mine replaced, it is in the rear headliner. Range was about 100 ft now I can get 300 plus to start and unlock. The fob wasn't the issue. Dealer kept changing batteries until I requested it be replaced before The warranty ran out.
Took mine off of my 07 tahoe and used the 3m eraser wheel. No issues and looked better since mine were fading. Using the eraser wheel, just go slow and steady as not to let it wonder on the door. Don't press ******* the door and let the spinning do the work. I didn't even use 1/3 of the eraser...
2020 Yukon slt, 6 speed, no issues so far. Everything works as designed. I pull a 6000 lb boat, no issues. I do all maintenance, easy to do. My old 07 was great but like this one better.
ON my old 2007 Tahoe 250K and my 2020 Yukon 60k always used Michelin LTZ. Currently have 60k on them with probably another 10k before needing to replace them.
I had a 2007 Tahoe with 250K miles no issues with engine or tranny. Traded for a 2020 Yukon. So far no issues with it either. The dealer did flush the tranny as a precaution to bad fluid from factory. I get 21.4 mpg on the last tank, a whole lot better than the 14 mpg on the 2007. It is quieter...
I had a '07 Tahoe with no issues on the engine til 251k. Was going to be to expensive to fix for the age. I was lucky and got a '20 Yukon with 12k (Hertz was dumping them due to COVID). I haven't had any issues on it.
Just keep the oil and maintenance on a regular schedule. The 5.3 is a sturdy...
Had to replace power steering pulley due to it was bent. I have the new one installed but question the alignment. What is the best way to insure alignment? I don't have access to a belt laser tool. I tried a straight edge but noticed the replacement GM pulley has a different edge thickness.
