High mount brake light question

Has anybody had any issues with...
The 3rd (high mount) brake light being intermittent? It doesn't seem to be the brake pedal switch. When it doesn't illuminate and I push hard on the light it will light up. But the connector is just a connector...nothing really to adjust. Any valuable advice out there? TIA!- Hawgdriver
