Fresh to the GMT800 Platform so please bare with me.
So all i have done to the truck thus far has been Energy Susp Front Links and Rear Link Bushings and the Sway Bar Bushings. Feels great but with 226k on the clock it needs way more attention than just those little upgrades, so i am looking to go slightly lower and tighter.
PPV comes with 32mm fronts and 28mm rears if i am not mistaken? Correct me please, i thought i read that somewhere on here from a comparison between Stock v. PPV v. Performance(if anyone can drop the link id appreciate it, i cant find it.). But idk if investing $500+ on just two bars is worth it right now. Idk.
My idea for lowering would be a 2/3 ideally. Whats the recommended way to go about this though, i am seeing so many mixed reviews about hitting bump stops and travel mods and etc. i just want to set it and forget it kind of deal.
Z56 is stated to be a 2 inch drop in the rear already from what i have been told? So if thats the case then would a Bilstein 4600 be a great shock? All id then have to do is lower the front which i wouldn’t mind a even drop.
Please any suggestions would be great i read all these topics trying to find my answers but there is never a solid statement.
