Welllll picked up my NBSS complete intake up today for $50. I'm pretty stoked about it honestly it's about time the Tahoe got something performance wise. I'm gonna try and use the nnbs fuel rails c5 return less fuel filter and go ahead and bypass the coolant line in the TB. Considering how high the x-link is to run the 87 mm, I think I'll go ahead and just buy the 4 to 3 bolt adapter for the time being. I know this swap is pretty straight forward and simple but if anyone has input please go ahead and chime in

Definitely keep us updated on your progress. What adapter are you talking about? Is the nnbs Tb bigger then the nbs?

After a little research this came of an Lh6 5.3 which came out in 05. It started in the Trail Blazers and apparently used from 07-09 on the trucks. To answer your question the TB on this intake is 87 mm ours is 78. Our TBs are also 3 bolt this one is 4 bolt. I could use an x-link harness to use the 87 mm but there $240 and that's just out of budget right now. The adapter plate is $40 to run your factory TB

There's other brands in pretty sure summit sells one aswell. I'm on the hunt for a harness right now and trying to find out the injector # for the lh6 to see if I can use them

Mine came off my buddies 06 trail blazer ss with the LS2 6.0. Mine looks a little different different, if that's the same intake.
