I have searched and found multiple threads but still cannot figure it out. The thing that has me hung up is the dual voice coils vs single and the 2-4 ohms. I know the stock non Bose set up is 2 ohm. So do I get a 2 ohm speaker or dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm?? Its for a 100% stock system. Just want to replace the factory blown out one. Not trying to shatter the Windows haha.

Either a single 2 ohm or a dual 4 ohm subwoofer will work. If you wire both + together and both - together on the dual 4 ohm you will end up at 2 ohms.

Yes but there's no reason to get a dual voice coil sub; just get a 2 ohm but make sure to check the physical dimensions. There's a thread here on replacements that will fit the stock box by a member named "Sub"; not only does it need to fit the shallow mounting location but you also want a sub that's designed for the volume of the enclosure.
