Hey everyone, I just decided to take my 01Tahoe and make it more responsive. I want to do all bolt on first, well I'll slap a cam and headers too. What would u recommend for a cam? I want to most radical sounding w/o using a stall, maybe just some tuning. Should I get a programmer or will I need to have the prom flashed to match the cam? I need info on what lbs injectors I can jump up to, will this LS6 intake b worth the swap? Will I need to do anything other than a shift kit to the trans, like change the servo out of a vett? I'd like to keep it a naturally aspirated engine! Money is a issue so keep n mind I'm doing a budget build. Thanks everyone!

Welcome aboard first of all!! I cant answer too much for ya, but there is a lot of great info and very helpful people on this site. If you havent tooled around in the 01-06 section take a look there, might answer a lot of your questions. As for the tune, check out Blackbear. They are a vendor on here and are great people! Hope you get the ball rolling on things!

sounds like you need to find a tuner / engine builder and just tell him your budget.
and let him make all your decisions for you.

where are you located?
