That's a good price. I bought my 2002 Z71 with 123k and paid $12,500.

I don't know the History on yours, reason I paid that much was the Tahoe was a 1 previous owner vehicle and was in mint condition. It even came with a binder of all the tune ups and repairs. Previous owner was a 50 Year old guy so it wasn't abused :)

Good price if it's in good condition and clean.

Take it to a mechanic. Have em pull the drain plugs on your front and rear diffs and transfer case. You might find something in there you don't like(rebuilt diff or t-case, $1200). Also, test the 4wd extensively. Find a gravel parking lot or somewhere you can put it in 4wd and drive it around for at least 5-10 minutes. Tilt the column up and down with headlights on to make sure there are no shorts in the dimmer switch($200 part). I guess that covers all of the things that were wrong with mine that I didn't find out about until it was too late.

If you can find a decent Z71 for that price jump on it, getting harder to find. Save yourself a headache and write off an hours shop labor and have it looked over by a certified mechanic, their looking to make money so believe me they will tell you about every little thing that THEY think needs replacing, then you determine by that what to fix on your own time and do it yourself and save a ton :Handshake: with a good running Z71 and general maintenance youll see 200k no problem
